Abe no Seimei is very good at this kind of thing. He has done it many times! Even in Milliways once or twice!
YT would do fine taking care of a pet. With a human, it depends. Both parties might hate each other by the end.
Murderbot might not be able to manage taking care of a pet, but it could take care of a human okay. I mean, it might be really tyrannical about things like "you will take this medicine" or "you will eat this" or "you cannot do this thing because it will tear out your stitches." But the human under its care would definitely be in good hands.
