Is your character the type to love the new house pet right away or are they the grump who wants nothing to do with it but ends up deeply bonded to it anyway?

Hera is former - except for exactly one time, and that was when Kanan came on board, lol

Amascut has been harboring a several millennia-long grudge against her father's new pets so ... no.
zenigatcha: Zenigata looking like a hardboiled detective with hat, coat and shadows. (Default)

Zuko: He takes time to warm up to most things.

Lan Zhan: He bonds immediately with small furry creatures, and loves them very much.

Zenigata: 'I refuse to love the thing.' 'Well, okay, maybe I'll take care of it a little.' 'We play every day!!!' 'We got the cat for Ami six months ago, but now it sleeps on Zenigata every night and loves him best out of everyone. It's his cat now.'

If it’s Seimei or YT, they’re the one who brought the pet into the house.

Murderbot would take a while to warm up to a pet, but it would eventually happen. And it would probably find the pet to be easier company than most humans, or certain bots.
