In the new Star Wars: The High Republic media (books, comics, and VR game), several characters describe perceiving the Force in different ways; one hears a song and another feels/sees it as fire.

Taking inspiration from this, how would your character(s) perceive the Force/Magic/Psychics/the Matrix/Astral/Green Lantern Energy/Whatever you can think of?

For Obi-Wan, I'm like - how do fishes perceive water?

And I guess I want to do this for my other Jedi:

Ezra hears music - it's different music depending on the being its passing through, but like - Kanan sounds different to Ahsoka but they are both volumes louder than Hera and Sabine, and Loth Wolves sound different to Loth Cats and space whales.

Warlock doesn't feel anything except the reaction in his own body and mind. He has a gut feeling, and he just knows stuff. He's not aware of the sensation of feeling, just what the Force is telling him.

----

Dick would feel the force like air on his skin, flowing past him as he flies through the world.
Dinah would be a bit like Warlock, a bit like Obi-Wan - she's really grounded and physical and would feel it like a physical thing.

Simba would feel it as a cold-to-the-touch pale light, like starlight.

Fives would hear it whispering in the voices of his brothers.

Gamora says no thank you she doesn't want to be Force sensitive thanks.

This is a great question, I started Light of the Jedi but had to return it to the library and new job hasn't been great for my reading new books.

I'll start with the ones who have something similar.

For Charles, his connection is very much to people so voices and then the feel of minds. Due to his era, I think he would compare it to a combination of a radio always being on along with a breeze of different temperatures depending on people's moods.

To Sameth, the Charter is warmth and a hint of spice in the air and a connection that he can feel and see.

Quentin, its about taste and smell, and depends a lot on the people involved and their magic.

For Demeter, life is green and gold and warm and safe.

I'm not sure about the others, will think on them.

OK, taking a break from work and taking a stab at this.

Ahsoka feels the Force somewhat like a pressure that varies in levels. It's almost like sounds but not quite.

Sabine would likely 'feel' the Force as kinetic resistance. Or at least that's my take from how she learned to use the Darksaber. If she has any say in the matter it'd be various hues, shades, and saturation of colors.

Jessica would feel the Force as electrical currents and resistances.

This is interesting because the Anima in Amascut and Fairy Fixit's canon is a lot like the Force, except there is color to it, hues and not just values/greyscale. Curiously, the Dark side of the Anima is the calm, calculating, rational side and the Light side is the impulsive, passionate, emotional side so it is the reverse of what it is in Star Wars canon. Well, the Light side of the Anima is more love inspired and the Dark side of the Force is more rage inspired? A Jedi would give Amascut the same vibes as some of the elite Zarosian warriors from long ago and maybe a Sith might give her the vibe of an angry elf, but I don't know how a vibe could be described?

With Fairy Fixit, I am more sure that she experiences magic/the Force/whatever as changes in flow direction, pressure, viscosity, both in the magic inside her and the magic in the environment.

Amascut does have a specific reaction to psychic energy/astral projections/generic soul stuff, though. It is delicious and it makes her hungry. She might start salivating in the presence of ghosts.
