Ducking in on my own DE early to say that Yamato is definitely Ice/Something, as Ice is his element in canon anyway. Mileage may vary on if he's Ice/Steel or Ice/Fighting or Ice/Dark.

(Taichi meanwhile is Fire/Dragon, Sora is Fire/Flying, Koushiro is Electric/Bug, Mimi is Grass/Fairy, Jyou is Water/Steel, and Takeru and Hikari are both Fairy/Psychic.)

Dark/Fairy, I'd say, or maybe Dark/Psychic.

Zuko: Fire/Fighting, the bane of all players who like Fire Starter Types but get real sick of the repetition.

Lan Zhan: Grass/Ice. Something to do with icy pine trees in Cloud Recesses... could also be a good contender for Ice/Fairy, with his beauty + ice combining into a new killer combo.

Phoenix is Fire, but can use Psychic moves due to the Magatama.

Snufkin is a Grass type.

Lup is Fire, no question. (Though she might be Fire/Ghost after becoming a lich.)

Sariel is flying/water, which is a rare one, I know. She *might* be a contender for flying/grass, maybe.

Lupin's either pure Dark-type, or Dark/Steel for the gadgetry angle. There's even a move named in his honor.

Ahsoka would be a fighting/psychic type since there is not Light type.

Sabine would be fighting/fire, although fighting/fairy is tempting for the color combo.

Viv would be electric/psychic.

Jessica would be electric/poison.

Ben would be ghost. Maybe with psychic?

Alustin would be grass/fairy since there are no wood types that I am seeing.

Wen Qing...I'm going with Steel/Fairy just for the hell of it. :D

Molly is definitely a Fighting-type. I was thinking about maybe making her a dual-Electric type, to reflect her tendency to bounce off the walls... but then it occurred to me that technically her powers are psychic-based. So she's got to be a Fighting/Psychic type, which would also make her appropriately difficult to counter - while the Psychic typing means she's weak against bugs, which is also canonically true.

I'm going to say Victoria is a dual Ghost/Dark type - the Ghost typing to reflect her Sekrit Squirrels work, and the Dark because... she kills people, dear. I could see an argument for Ghost/Dragon, though.

...Coulson wants to know if there's a typing for people who do all the paperwork? In the absence of that, he's Normal/Fighting.

Max is straight-up Normal-type.

War is Fire/Fighting.

Nebula is Steel/Fighting. Arguably, given that she's at times in the role of The Dragon trope and God knows I love a pun, I'd see an argument that she's alternatively a Steel/Dragon type.

BB-8 is a Steel type, obvs. Maybe Steel/Electric?

Poe is definitely a Flying-type, but I'm not sure if he's a dual-type or not. I could see arguments for Flying/Fighting, Flying/Fire, or Flying/Steel. Maybe Flying/Fighting, as that would give him a canon-appropriate weakness to Psychics. *looks at Kylo Ren*

Snow Leopard Woman is a goddess, and pretty much all the Pokemon gods are Dragon-types. So she's Dragon/Ice.

McGonagall....... Hm. The first thing that comes to mind is a Fire-type, but I'm not sure if that's right. I'm going to say she's pure Dragon-type.

As the tutorial character who's one of the approximately 1/5th of player characters without amazing supernatural powers in his canon, I think Wilson has to be Normal type, but he evolves to a Normal/Ice type when his beard grows out all the way.

Thurlow is Psychic/Fire type, mostly for Scholar of the Correspondence reasons.

Bastion is Steel/Grass type, maybe evolving to Steel/Fighting after they lose the overgrown plants.

Aradia is Ghost type. If she has a second type it's Psychic or Ground, but Ghost monotype suits her pretty well.

Wormwood is Grass/Rock type, because that's what he's made out of. He strongly favours grass-type moves, however.

Cirava is Psychic/Bug type, leaning mostly on the Psychic.

(All-Skate bonus character: Wendy is also Ghost monotype.)

Sameth: One of the easier ones, steel/rock or maybe steel/psychic

Moist: normal but he can make you think he's other things
Demeter: grass, so much grass
