Happy Friday folks! Welcome back to DE with Bat.

Today we're going to have some fun...

'Getting to know you, getting to know all about youuuuu...'

Inspired by Don's DE yesterday and a radio host I listen to who plays that song every morning, let's have an Icebreaker session with Q's and A's.

Similar to yesterday, tag in with your pups (All Skate characters are allowed) and others will have a sit down and IC'ly share a back and forth.

THE SETUP will be corporate event meets end of the universe. Everyone will have a 'Hi, My Name is:' name tag (specify what your pup writes in the box edit: in the subject line of your post), there will be tables and chairs, some drinks and nibbles, and everyone knows that the point of the event is to get to know your fellows even if it's begrudgingly.

THE FORMAT will be post in your pup and each interaction will start with a question and then continue on with an answer (honest or not) and a return question. You can build on the original question topic, or pick something new when the tag comes back to your pup.

Feel free to ask anything. Where are you from? What's your favorite color? What kind of movies do you like? Why did you punch so and so in the face that one time? Is your mom's name Martha? Etc!

Meet new people or get to know someone even better. :D

That seems ideal.

Max may be sidling that way with her glass of punch (which is mostly about having something to do with her hands rather than for the purposes of drinking), avoiding the anxiety-inducing press of people.

"May I sit here?" she asks him, after a moment, gesturing to a seat that isn't actually all that close to him, but is at least also given some relative distance from the rest of the crowd.

Wearing one of his best shirts and armed with a beer, Cisco is here, on the outskirts of the room but working up the courage to venture into the crowd.

There is someone else doing much the same, watching the crowd warily, although it's questionable just how much courage she's actually working up.

Should their gazes cross each other, she gives the other wallflower a slight, hesitant smile.

"Is it just me, or are these things universally awful?" she asks, at least partially sure of a sympathetic answer.

Cassian's not wearing a nametag but he's enjoying the free food on offer and has a full plate and a large mug of caf. He's looking around and trying not to yawn too much.

"You're better off givin' a fake name than none at all," Logan comments, surveying the food spread and looking for something to go with his beer.

"Any of this mess any good?" he asks about the food.

Quentin's yawning as this is too early/late, one of those times to be up and has a stack of donuts, no disguise so his bronze hair keeps catching the light and a shirt that reads The sea gets me and has a tall ship silhouetted on it.

The setting is slightly different but Charles used to go to a lot of gatherings like this. He appreciates the chance to observe so many people and has his chair pulled up to a table and is sipping a mug of tea.

She's dressed in worn semi-military clothes (more like the stuff you find in surplus stores than government issues), has a large brown rat perched on her shoulder, large tusks jutting past her lips from her lower jaw, and a large bowl of ramen (curry, fake cheddar cheese, and broccoli). She nods before cracking her knuckles, splitting her chopsticks, and digging in.
