"We don't all have wings, Sam," she'd laughed as he pushed and pulled and bullied her, and somehow she'd found herself on the railing, weight shifting to keep her balance as the Paul & Darlenerocks gently beneath her, fingers curled around coarse nylon rigging.

"Kinda surprising you don't have wings, seeing as you're a chicken," he says now, grinning and treading water below her, and that's all it takes: she launches herself into the air and dives toward him like an avenging arrow in flight.

Flawless. I love this scene and the voices are perfect.
