Hello Milliways! Hear the one about the Bat in the Bar? It started 15 years ago.

That's right, today is my Milliversary, holy GD it's been a decade and a half, how nuts is that?

For today's DE let's play BINGO!

Some of us are Milliways Veterans, and I know some have just arrived (WELCOME, Y'ALL!), but still, regardless of your time on board there are spaces we could all fill on a BINGO card if someone were to throw a game together.

Today that someone is me. Think of it like Road Trip Bingo, where you see a bird on a wire you can mark the space, only in the Milliways version it's events that have happened to you or your pups along your Milliways journey.

List at least five things you could check off on your scorecard, because five is a BINGO, get it? Or, go for a blackout and list a bunch! Also feel free to jump around and comment on other people's lists with items that you could check off, too.

I'll post some down below, but for starting example:

1. Had a pup transformed into an animal
2. Took place in a bar-wide plot
3. I graduated college
4. Traveled across state lines to meet/visit another mun
5. Had a pup try the Atlantean

My milliversary was a week or so ago and it's been 13 years for me.

1. Altered canon due to Milliways intervention
2. Deleted a pup but then brought them back
3. Had my toddler grow up and now attending college
4. Changed PBs for a pup...several times (so sorry Thalia)
5. Had your pup swap gender

Happy Milliversary! My how time flies.

With 1 I've tweaked canon a little, but never gone full on in another direction.

And I've done #2 with Matt who, fun fact, was actually my very first character who I deleted after awhile and then re-apped when the Netflix show came out.

Of your lot: 1, 2, 3 (twice!), 4 (living in a foreign country with two other muns counts, yes?)


1. Created a permanent piece of bar architecture
2. Played a non-humanoid character

5. Picked up a character for plot and then apped them.

Oh I like this one and my Milliversary was at the end of last month. Let's see of yours I've done all but three but I did graduate grad school. Now what additions can I think of.

1-Did age shenanigans with a character.
2-Had your character change another character's canon.
3-Had characters working in the Infirmary or as Security.
4-Bought things as presents or for yourself because they remind you of Milliways.
5-Associate a PB with a Milliways' character, been able to have other people make that connection due to your playing.

I'm a vet but I've been in and out for the last *mumble mumble* years. Of yours, I've:

1. Emma Swan --> robin for Cubefall
2. Too many to count. Memorable entries include: Blodwen Rowland's first appearance, the POTC plot, Band Candy.
3. Yep!
4. Also yep
5. Zaphod Beeblebrox drank Atlantean pretty much every time I brought him in.

Let's see, I've:

1. Permanently changed the Bar area (Tia Dalma creating the Caribbean inlet)
2. Held a long-term job posting (Caspian was Head of Stables for...two years?)
3. Wound up with a cross-canon pairing (Caspian/Marian, Emma/Michael, Jack Twist/Hero, Bran Davies/Anne Shirley, among others)
4. Had a pup fall in love and get married (Caspian/Lucy)
5. Played a pup both alive and dead (Jack Twist)

#3, #4 without the wedding bells, and not 5, but in the beginning at one point I did entertain the idea of playing the 'He was dead the whole time!' card with Bill after bringing him in post-canon. Thankfully I didn't go that route.

(3! The person I nearly apped a month before joining with Marian was Tess Harding from Roswell, who is, also, played by Emilie de Ravin. // 1.B -- PLUS! She shows up in Edward's Icons, which are used for Star's, because their actors were in a wholly other movie together, too, that art-cropped ssssooo well.)

My 14th Milliversary was back on February 24th! I just laughed and remembered so much going down these lists. Thus, now I have to adding some:

1. Pup with crash courses in cultures wholly anathema to their original
2. Pup who has been coming to the bar for 10+ years
3. Player who has lived long-term in wholly different countries while playing
4. Pup who has broken one of The Three Cardinal Rules
5. AU'd a pup entirely from their original arrival-day canon

I love doing 1 and am still doing it.
2-Yes, I have a few that count for that.
3-I started playing in Milliways while living in New Zealand.
4-Heh, quite a few of mine have done that with my personal favorite being Demeter and Malcolm having sex at the Bar.

1 - got a whole heap of people to start reading your pup's canon (sometimes by giving them copies of the first book in the series)

2 - found out another mun lives in your tiny-ass city and ya'll can meet up

3 - come back after a zillion yrs away

4 - Learn how to use photoshop or other software b/c no one out there is making the icons you want/need

5 - had to do 30 mins of research for a 1-line response in a tag



All these on top of the other zillion things others have already mentioned.

Also - i will make icons for folks if they need/want them. Sending me images is best, but just a PB (and their specific look if you need) is also good. PM Peter's journal or ping me on discord. XD

1. OMG. So many. Books, comics, movies, tv shows. Hosting & running live-watches/reads (and getting all the canons from other people's characters, too) is MILLIWAYS MAGIC.
2. ALAS This is a no. No one else in San Antonio, but there'd been people in far Texas, and nearby states.
3. Yes, though I never officially dropped.
4. oh god yes. there are never too many icons
5. Or hours? Playing someone from 1910's with a perfect-recall memory of 100+ years of their memories, and anyone without about 1 mile of them, was f u n with google search nightly
