Good morning Milliways. We are nearly to the weekend, just two more days.

Today I have a secret mission for you. I have a list of 20 fandom questions. I'd like you to pick a number between 1 and 20, or roll a d20, or use an online random number generator (here's one) and tell me the result. I will then give you the corresponding question from my list.

Play as many times as you'd like.

ETA: Most of these questions are aimed at the fan and not the character, but I think with some creative thinking, they can be answered in character. Or just get rid of the fourth wall and answer from the character pov in a meta sense.

The Homestuck ending. The finale of the comic itself was a fine conclusion to the maybe half of the story threads that it addressed, most of which were strictly plot resolution and not really satisfying as far as character arcs went. Vriska and Sollux straight up disappeared with their fates left ambiguous. The Epilogues aren't any better, having been apparently engineered specifically to leave the fans uncomfortable and dissatisfied as an artistic statement, and Homestuck 2 is a continuation thereof.

Vision: It all depends on the execution, don't you think? Sometimes new characters and new plots gives life to a stale series; sometimes it's just confusing. A new movie about the same characters can be redundant and convoluted. The Exorcist series is a good example: II is one of the worst films ever made, focusing on Regan getting possessed again, while III has only some peripheral characters from the first movie, and is mostly a face-off between two powerhouse actors, Brad Douriff and George C. Scott.

"I don't know. That's a good question. I probably wouldn't want to throw myself into any of the Timely stories, that's for sure, but if we're talking about someone I met through here, I wouldn't mind going back to Thedas for a while. There's something about it - I don't know, I just felt like I fit in there. Although maybe that was just from hanging around with Ysalwen, Zevran, and Meraad. Who knows."

He drums his fingers against the tabletop once and grins, quick and bright.

"Although I guess I have to say I wouldn't mind seeing what space is like, too."

With that, he downs a swallow of bourbon.

"As long as it's fittin', that suits me just fine."

Sariel: I'm going to have to consider this for a while, I think. Especially given access to the bar, and what that's meant for knowledge of the multiverse. People I've met here. Who... don't exist outside fiction, in my dimension.

As for me, Chanter? Jeez, that's a hard question for me too! I'm one of those 'names carry a specific, significant kind of weight' people, and I also attach pretty darn strongly to characters, so...

No, if I'm enjoying a holonovel, then its because I like the galaxy being told. It doesn't always work since sometimes I care more about the characters but I haven't had the time to get deep into one in a while.

Whenever I hear River Driver by Great Big Sea, I think about being a foster and far away from home. But also it makes me think of Toby and the home I have now.

I think bittersweet since that's how the world usually goes. My favorite ending is from The Once and Future King as there's death and sadness but also hope.
