Thursday DE: I was on a Paris train

You character(s) is taking public transit for whatever reason. Do they sit or stand? How much room do they take up? DO they ignore everyone or see if they can get a conversation going? Feel to expand beyond these questions. :)

Peter Parker takes public transit all the time - he rides standing up inside the train, he rides on TOP of the train, he rides of TOP of the train in Germany, he gets HIT by the train in Germany, he collapses inside the train in Germany... he's v familiar with trains

Harry Dresden mostly stays away from public transit b/c he will fuck it up. He gets out his putt-putt-puttering-mobile and drives around. If he needs to do somewhere without his car, he usually just walks.

Sara Lance: "We're immortal, and we're superheroes, and we have to wait for the bus." Yeah, that's right. The Legends would just hijack the whole bus and take however much space they wanted. Sara's position in a bus is usually in the front third, but not quite right at the front.

Lady Marian: Still has never seen a bus. Would still prefer a horse to a bus. Probably would sit wherever she was bade to // follow whomever she was with to wherever they chose. Marian wouldn't take up any more space than she usually does sitting, and she'd probably get into a polite conversation with someone near her.

Jo Harvelle: Does not want to be on this bus. And again, does not want to be on this bus. Somewhere in the far back. Still. She had to a ride a number of them when she first left home before her beat up truck appeared. Only takes up a seat. Does not look all that interested in anyone saying anything to her, unless somehow she's asked a question tangential to her case and someone is telling her how to get somewhere, or something about that location, or the history of the area.

Jean Grey: There are no buses on Krakoa. Or the moon. Bbbbuuuttt she's really rather polite and would probably sit in whatever the first available seat is, and be the first person to offer to just give up a seat for someone else who looked exhausted even. Same as Marian, there would probably be polite hellos, head nods, smiles, and maybe a small polite conversation with anyone amenable near by.

Barry - Before the lighting bolt/speedster thing Barry took public transit a lot, and he missed the bus/train/whatever a lot.

He likes to read on the ride, so he sits (and misses his stop, a lot), but he's also quick to offer his seat when it's crowded. He doesn't mind chit chat (that's how he met Professor Stein before he knew the man! It was an awesome encounter).

Cisco - Cisco learned to drive and got his license as soon as possible, because his brother Dante and his folks never wanted to take him to the places he wanted to go, and because he HATED RIDING THE BUS. If he had to he would sit as close to the front as he could, he'd have headphones on and avoid making direct eye-contact or talking to anyone. And yet, STILL, he would undoubtedly encounter some sort of weirdo or situation.

Matt - Matt lives in NYC, public transportation is definitely a way he gets around. Not his favorite, he prefers to walk (or parkour) places, but if he's gotta take a bus or the subway he takes a seat that's convenient and keeps to himself.

Logan - Logan doesn't, but if he did he would stand. He might give one of those 'hey' chin-nods to people passing by, but otherwise he's not there to socialize.

Bill - not a fan. The only reason he'd be taking public transportation is if he's in a big city and he's already uncomfortable being in the city. He'd stand and be polite and probably get shoved around a lot for being so, and probably get lost, and likely would just walk back to wherever he came from rather than do it all again.
