Wednesday DE: Your horoscope says: You've won a brand new car!

Hey, Wednesdayers.

Today's question: What is your character's Zodiac sign (if they have one), and what is the sign that fits them best?

Wilson is canonically a Taurus because recently Klei gave everyone in Don't Starve Together a birthday and his was the original game's release date, which is in the middle of April. I guess it works okay? I was vaguely thinking of making him a Scorpio prior to that.

Aradia is not an Aries so much as the Aries. Being from another planet in another universe she doesn't have an Earth zodiac sign herself, but her influence is the reason the constellation of Aries is part of the zodiac, at least in the Homestuck multiverse. She fits the Aries stereotype very well, I think, although it'd be a bit weird if she didn't.

Wormwood is somehow a Gemini despite being born in another dimension, which I guess means time in the Constant and time on Earth exist in the same frame of reference and move in the same direction, allowing an Earth date to be matched up with a Constant date by someone who can observe both universes. Wormwood does not know they're a Gemini or what their Earth birthday is; I don't think they even know when their local birthday is, just what season they were born in (lush season, for the record). They're not really much like a stereotypical Gemini; they might make a better Cancer but I'm not committed to that.

I used the date I started playing Fallen London as Thurlow's birthday, so they're a Leo, although the people of the Fifth City mostly use a complicated system involving flocks of bats that roost on the cavern roof instead of stars that they can no longer see for their horoscopes. (I vaguely recall Thurlow's bat zodiac being the Rose.) It works pretty well, I think?

I picked out a non-canon birthday for Bastion - it's coming up soon, as a matter of fact - because Dreamwidth gave me the option to display it in their profile, and I made them a Cancer as a joke about it being the same thing salty Overwatch players call them to insult their gameplay presence. Aquarius would probably be closer to their personality, judging by the TV Tropes Western Zodiac page's descriptions.

Sharon is a Pisces and I think it fits her pretty well: she's intuitive, intelligent, and is driven by her strong moral compass and convictions. At the same time as she offers help to anyone who needs it, she finds it difficult to ask for help for herself and can get stuck in her own head or frustrated when she can't find a solution.

Peter's birthday is 10 August 2001 - he's a Leo and it mostly fits. There are a couple bits that aren't quite him, but the big bouncy happy wanna be everyone's friend and solve the world's problems thing is him.

Harry's birthday is 31 October 19[mumblemumble] - he's a Scorpio and a lot of it fits pretty well. The stubborn bastard. XD
