I thought today it would be far too easy to make a football-themed DE, or some other cheap reference, but I think that would simply be beneath me.

So. What hill is your character irrationally or exaggeratedly willing to die on?

Wei Wuxian: He will fight anyone who says anything that might be a slight against Jiang Yanli. Just. Insta-violence.

Sara Lance: The protection of the timeline & keeping her team alive, in one piece, coming back to the ship. She wants to say Laural, and mourns that she can't, but her name will always come first.

Jean Grey: Her people. Most especially Scott, Logan, her (/their) children. A good number of her closest and longest friends.

Jo Harvelle: Hunting. Being willing to die in the dark, never known, so long as she can keep taking even small parts of the darkness out both beforehand and even with her in the end. (People wise? Rachel, Anna, Amy & her kid, Krissy Chambers & Thorfinn, Merlin)

Allison Hargreeves: Claire, her daughter, first and foremost and always, above any other thing, person, time, etc and coming in a close second, Luther. Then, a half step behind that is Vanya.

Zenigata: You can shittalk him all day, an people frequently do, and he'll be fine. You can shittalk Lupin, too, and he'll be like "yeah Lupin is slang in my country for idiot," and be down like a clown to roast his rival. Say 'boo' about Japan, especially Japanese cops, and he's gonna throw hands on the spot, you've been warned.

Zuko: Zuko's really worked hard to not be reactionary, but if you come for his mom you better come with a whole fucking army, he will not take any shit there. You want to go agni kai bullshit, or you want put your kids or your subordinates in trouble for profit or self aggrantizing? He will not only Fight You, he will fight you as a Fire Lord and you will end up in a very bad place shortly after.

Vex: The only think that Vex is willing to die for is Vex. Everything else is transitory, but Vex is forever!

Lan Zhan: Mr. Petty doesn't throw hands, but he will in fact give you the death of a thousand paper cuts for insulting: his brother, his lover, his children, his juniors, his friends, people in need... But he'l do it real petty like. No outward explosions anymore. He'll just make it clear you're incompetent and go about his business fixing your shit for you and making sure you look terrible while he does it.
