I have a wire wrapped piece of amethyst that I love. The wire is silver but in wearing the necklace a lot lately I've noticed the silver is wearing off to show copper. Funny enough, i find I like the copper and amethyst color combo, which is not something I would have thought of on my own.

Which has me wondering, what odd combos that you never would have expected have happened at Milliways for you and your pups?

Oh, gosh, where to even start.

Lady Marian working for Tom Riddle's adopted daughter in London Below (& their super-sensible conversations about arranged marriages), and also forever finding her best friend COUGH 2nd Love of Her Life COUGH in Caspian X. Allie Keys straight up being adopted by Knox & Rapunzel (and her older self falling in love with George Luz). Peeta Mellark basically being adopt-befriended by Lily Evans (so much so his world has a Tempest in a Tea Pot little fish and he'll know when she dies, too).

Edward Cullen and Meg Ford pretty much up and down the court, as I was pretty sure he'd never get close to anyone, or ever admit his powers/family secrets, and she just put the effort for forever, well over a year before anything came of it. Jo Harvelle and Anna (from her own canon), but also the interesting bond between her and River Tam starting her first night.

Most of Ace's relationships. Especially the Birb Siblings, but... all of it, got into so many new canons because of her.

Wei Wuxian and Zenigata.

Yamato looking at Barry Allen and going "Ah, a Bíg Brøther," was pretty surprising.

Emma Swan + Michael Westen took me completely by surprise.

Remember when Zaphod Beeblebrox developed actual real feelings for Meg Giry? Not romantic ones (yikes!) but Feelings nonetheless.

Will Parry/Puck came out of nowhere and I loved every second of it.
