There's... room for improvement.

Wei Wuxian's critical thinking skills are situationally good. Give him a mystery, an army to face, a murderous scumbag to hunt down, and he's amazing, 10/10, just try and keep up. Give him a personal problem - say 'does Lan Zhan like me' or 'would my family prefer to know the truth or just assume I'm a fickle brat', and he's shit. Completely incapable of coming to a logical deduction. Please give this boy a padded room and some lotus seeds to nibble, k?

Jon... look. It's not that his critical thinking skills are bad, really. It's just that he doesn't know all of the rules of actual reality until it is much, much too late. He is rather prone to making quick assumptions, which... ne doesn't quite manage to unlearn, but he tries. Ish. About some things.

Klaus can have good critical thinking skills, but only if he's a) sober, b) given a reason to give a damn. Otherwise he just tries shit and sees what sticks to the wall.

Cecil... ........................................... He has good critical thinking skills for Night Vale. They aren't entirely applicable to non-Night-Vale life. The rules are different there.

Peter's is about on level or better for someone his age. With regards to solving problems. The whole 'jumping in before thinking' part he could do better at.

Harry's is pretty good unless his internal biases get in his way (idiot) - he'd be kinda of a shit PI if his critical thinking skills were hot trash.
