Wei Wuxian doesn't want pets. Oh, he likes animals (most animals, you know, the good, innocent, awesome animals, unlike some animals, which are evil, you know which ones), but he doesn't want pets. But of course he's going to make sure the pet gets food, and pets, because they're soft and cute and all, and so what if he's made them all little headbands? That's his business.
Jon Sims does not want the pet, and will probably never warm to the pet, unless it is a cat. In which case eventually he will have a new furry son or daughter and if you insult them you can see yourself out.
Klaus does not care about the pet. No really. He's not a pet person.
Cecil loves the new pet. And then is kind of... well, it's weird, right, when you get a new pet, and you decide before you even get it what it will be like, and of course it isn't like that, and you don't hate the pet, but it's all sort of wrong? But then he loves the pet, because once you accept the pet for what it is, it is perfect.
Someone please tell Chenling we got a pet, he's still running from the chicken.
there is no way Spider-Man says 'no' to any animal.
Harry is kinda both - Mister he adopted off the street; Mouse he was initially not wanting to keep, but the little pup was stubborn... and he's still here. XD

Sabine adopts the pet and will kill anyone around her and then herself if anything happened to it.
Jess is not a fan of the pet but ends up loving it anyway.
Viv does not feel emotions as she has turned off her emotional processors. (So totally loves the pet before even claiming it.)
Alustin loves the pet immediately but will find it a better home as his lifestyle does not make him a good caregiver.
Tybalt is the pet. OK, he is glaring at me for that. He adopts the pet immediately if it is a feline but is begrudgingly accepting of other species.
Wen Qing would love the pet immediately, though with proper decorum.
Ben would love a pet, but wouldn't be able to have one except in Milliways.
