Friday DE: Colour theming

Does your character have a colour typically associated with them? What are the connotations of that colour in the context of your character? And if they don't have one, what colour should they have?

Sharon: White, for the suit she has in the comics *shakes fist at MCU*. White and gold are the colors I most strongly associate with her.

Zinda: Black and yellow, the colors of the Blackhawk logo.

Caspian: Mediterranean blue and gold.

Geralt: Grey, grey, grey. Just like his whole damn world.

Wei Wuxian: This one is actually, like, a thing! :D!! SO. Before the world erupts into chaos, he wears a red under-robe with a dark blue outer robe - the blue is within the color scheme of the Jiangs, the clan he's first disciple of. He actually has a Very Sparkly Cape (it's awesome, I'm so sad he doesn't wear it more often) that goes with the First Disciple outfit, and I think he's more traditionally meant to wear purple underrobes and belt with that outfit. HOWEVER, he doesn't - either as an indication of how out-of-the-box he is from the word go, or because Madam Yu doesn't want him to wear Jiang purple because she hates his ass. There's debates, I love them, anyway. Once the world goes to shit, he keeps the red, but his outer robe choices lean towards black, because we're subtle here in the Untamed universe. And it makes his red eyeliner look even more sexy. You paying attention, Lan Zhan? When he runs away with the Wen Remnants, his color choices stay the same, but get desaturated - more of a rust-red with grey, honestly. But then things go to shit again and we're back to super-saturated blood red and f-you black. In the Game of Life Round 2 (holy shit it's the remix), he starts off in the red/black motif, with a quick sideways jaunt into 'stole my boyfriend's underrobe' white (which he very helpfully strips down to in front of said boyfriend's uncle and the entire cultivation world pour one out for Lan Qiren's sanity), but after a nap on a soothing boat ride, he ends up in all black? Which I have yet to hear good commentary about, so if anyone has some, hit me up. (also, looking back as I was trying to find a picture of that glorious cape, I found pics of WWX when they were all at Wen School of Being Definitely Hostages, and he appears to be all in black there too, but I know he supposedly has a red underrobe because of the stripping that happens later. So IDK).

Cecil Palmer is associated with a very particular shade of purple, though I'm pretty sure that shade of purple is never explicitly mentioned in the actual series. He is not associated with yellow. Ever.

Jon Sims is associated with a very particular shade of green, for much the same reasons that Cecil is with purple, but again I don't think it shows up anywhere actually in canon.

Klaus... I guess you could associate him with that icy shade of blue that the powers tend to manifest with? Especially once he really gets in on the ghost summoning thing.

Gaster: Black, but also white and grey - the color of his cowl, and also since all of his 'followers' that show up in the game at random are washed out in grey.

Urania: No canon colors I'm aware of, but I go with purple and silver.

Phoenix: Blue, like his suit, and his eyes (sometimes. Capcom can't seem to decide what color they are.)

Snufkin: Green, like his coat, and the forest he spends all his time in.

Lup: Red - all the IPRE members wear red jackets/robes, but Lup is especially associated with it, due to her love of fire magic.

Starfleet red is the obvious one here for Sariel, but there could also be a case made for leaf green, sunny yellow, and of course lavender. Tropical water blue and starlit black sky are in there too, and... hmm.

In her normal, daylit life the color Sunshine is associated with is BRIGHT. Just.... all of them, full-spectrum, so long as they're saturated and bold. Sunny yellow and tangerine orange, electric blue and blazing purple, hot pink and lime green, bright red and Everything Else Ever. Just... never white, never black, never grey, and rarely ever shades of brown. And never any maroon or burgundy shades, either.

At least, not in her daylit life.

Peter - i mean....... aside from the 'night monkey' suit that's black... he's got the red and the blue

Harry - mostly his black duster and the glowing runes on his staff turn red, but that's about all. Unless you count 'black and blue' from all the bruises. XD
