Monday DE: Still not too old to die young

Afternoon all!

Did you know that Sarah Michelle Gellar is older NOW than Anthony Stewart Head was when he first played Giles to her Buffy?

Look, if I have to know this, so do you. Them's the breaks.

And now that you all hate me for making you feel old... How does your pup feel about getting older?

Sharon Carter is fine with aging, but I don't think she thinks about it all that much. She'll be upset when she stop being able to do the things she currently can do/gets hurt much more easily, but in general I think she'll age gracefully and move from a field position to something more administrative, or just retire.

Zinda Blake is technically over a hundred years old and she's pretty unfazed by it. She'll get a good laugh out of actually aging, I think.

Geralt does not expect age to get him, except in the sense that he'll slow down too much and get eaten by a monster.

Temeraire is concerned about Laurence aging, because dragons tend to live 200 years or longer. Some dragons in the Corps are 'inherited' by their captain's offspring – most notably the Longwings, who will only connect with female captains – but Laurence is childless and Temeraire sometimes gets depressed about thinking about life without him.

Yelena Belova is 27. She doesn't think about it.

WWX: SO weird. He was dead, he's now younger than all of his previous peers but the younger generation looks like babies to him, so many things happened that turn out being important (fashion trends, floods and droughts, minor political scandals) that trip him up in day to day life constantly because everyone else just casually knows about them and references them in shorthand leaving him to flounder. This is just all so odd.

Jon: He's ambivalent about it. He's still young enough that Old Age is a future myth, and doesn't have any family to be Noticeably Older at him.

Klaus: Secretly kinda worried about it. He honestly didn't expect to survive this long, and knows that eventually he won't be able to support his current lifestyle on the awesomeness of his ass. It's a problem. However, he mostly treats it as a problem for future!Klaus.

Cecil: What is time, anyway? Who is to say that everyone is getting older? Sounds suspicious.
(Also Night Vale has a long and storied history of people failing to age linearly or... um... at all (side-eyes Cecil's in-person report from the stone age and the 1930's). So there's no real guarantee he's actually aging. Carlos might want to look into that.)

OK, quick like...

Ahsoka doesn't think about it and likely just accepts it as all part of the Force if she did.

Sabien doesn't think about it.

Jess avoids thinking about it.

Viv doesn't think about it, but will someday as Vision made her so she will age.

Alustin only worries if he will accomplish the Thing before he is incapable.

Tybalt is around 350 years old and doesn't age. Being old is irrelevant.

Not sure about Wen Qing. I am sure part of her wishes for a family to take care of her in her old age, but that ship has sailed.

Harry - has learned that he just ages slower than the average bear and he's kinda worried about out-living the people he knows

Peter - has that nifty healing factor thing, so he probably will age slower than regular folks too - but he hasn't really addressed it in canon; but it would probably bother him to out-live his friends
