Friday DE: And then we exiled the ambiverts

Simple one for today:

Is your character an introvert or an extrovert?

Wei Wuxian is an extrovert - the times he's truly alone in canon, it's either because of a punishment, or he's decided he's too dangerous to be around people. When he can, even his alone time in a place he can see and hear other people (ie drinking in a tavern). He doesn't do great all by himself. Which makes his post-canon plan to wander around by himself a little sus. WWX, have we mentioned the plans you create on your own kinda suck sometimes?

Jon Sims is an introvert. OMG people are exhausting. And weird. And intrusive. (So yeah, that Ceaseless Watcher thing is great. Augh.)

Klaus is an introvert. Like yes, life of the party or whatever, sure, but when he's tired and needs a recharge? He gets away from people. ALL the people, thanks ever so much ghosts who won't take a hint. This means his cult-forming plan in S2 is a wee bit shit. You'd think he'd know this about himself already, but our boy has a PhD in Dumbassery. It's a Hargreeves specialty.

Cecil... mmm. I'm gonna say introvert. For most of his life he lives alone (other than with the Faceless Old Woman Who Lives In Your Home, and his home too, I mean, that's just a given, right?) and he's fine with that, really. He has friends, but he also has his off time. I think that's why he gets so bad after Carlos is in the Desert Otherworld for so long - everyone's used to Cecil being fine on his own, that they don't realize that while yes, he values his alone time, being told repeatedly he's less interesting than a lot of sand is... um. Not great. Carlos, you dummy.

Chengling is a quiet extrovert. He gets visibly panicked when he's left alone too long, he needs his dads people.

Molly - SUPER extroverted. She hates not being around people.

McGonagall - introverted extrovert/ambivert. She genuinely does love the 'working with students' part of her job... and while she can happily get lost on a week-long solo research binge given the chance, she'll go back to people after that to recharge. Being an extrovert doesn't have to mean you're OBNOXIOUS about it (she says).

Coulson - more on the 'quiet extrovert' side.

Snow Leopard Woman - introverted af. Wild animal, and all that.

War - maximum extrovert. She is wherever people are. :)

Poe - definitely an extrovert, the charming sod.

BB-8 - ditto (only more charming).

Victoria - another extrovert, which is one more reason she was NOT enjoying her solo pre-canon retirement.

Max - introvert, but he's more extroverted than being a Smol Grumpy Nerd who mostly works alone (...except for all the dead bodies) in a lab would necessarily imply. Arguably, at least some of the introversion is more about not wanting to be outed, although it's still mostly innate. He quite likes being around people, he just doesn't want to be talked to death while he's about it.

Nebula - she'd be an introvert if she ever got the chance. The only People she really likes, for most of canon, is Gamora. During End Game she has begrudgingly added Tony and Rhodey (though ideally not at the same time) to her People... but they're still not as good as Gamora.

Peter's extroverted. he wants friends and to be noticed and praised for all the stuff he does.

Harry is an introvert - give the man a book, his cat, and his fireplace and he's happy.
