Afternoon all!

Since it's my birthday tomorrow... (Whoo!)

How does your character normally celebrate their birthday? Is this their preferred choice? If not, what would be their preferred way to celebrate? (Or... not celebrate, as the case may be.)

I don't think there was much of a celebration (officially) for Wei Wuxian's birthday, historically - like, the Jiangs officially observed it, because it would be odd if they didn't do something for the birthday of the head disciple, but it was a muted affair because Madam Yu. Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng always got him something, and that was plenty for him.

Jon did celebrate his birthday (or had it celebrated for him by Georgie) while in college, though now that he's single he doesn't put that much effort into it. Except that first year as archivist, his team does surprise him with a cake, and he's inordinately pleased about the whole thing though he tries to pretend he isn't.

Klaus doesn't celebrate his birthday. What's to celebrate?

Cecil... isn't entirely clear when his birthday is. He knows he's an Aquarius, though.

Harry's b-day is Halloween... and his author-person seems to find it amusing to fuck his life up and tell the world about it.

Peter... MCU hasn't done his b-day yet, so dunno what he does canonically.
