It's Tuesday. One day closer to the weekend and the day before new comic books!

Inspired by a crackchat conversation with nocarename  and kippurbird : What currency or currency-substitute barter arrangement does your pup use to pay their tab (or which one would they use, if they didn't avoid paying it)? Alternately, how do they raise the money to order things from Bar if it's not from their day job?

YT is sometimes seen paying her tab in billion- and trillion-dollar bills. But don’t get too excited, that’s just hyper inflated currency.

Abe no Seimei typically pays his bills in yen, but may also pay in a variety of other currencies depending on where he has been lately. If he has nothing else he will pay in quintessence (stored magical energy), which mages in his world use like a currency.

Murderbot pays for things with currency chips containing Corporation Rim standard credits. This particular aspect of its life is not as exciting as some others.

Harry uses good ole American greenbacks. if he's still got a surplus from back when he tended bar, he could just be chipping away at that.

Peter, so far, uses either just US cash or the fund for underage patrons... but he wouldn't be surprised to find out if random 'adopting' patrons toss money at his account. if it ever became an issue, he'd trade skills - he can fix stuff and clean things an whatnot.

Tess is a billionaire. Her bar tab isn't even a blip on her radar.

Creed is also wealthy, but is due to his day job as an assassin. Also he's been around for almost 200 years.

Kylo... I'm not even sure currency comes to his mind. He just gets things given to him. This would be an interesting one to play out.

Wanda, I assume the Avengers pay her somehow?

Wei Wuxian pays with silver when he has it, or by working off his bar tab by tending.

Klaus... gets other people to pay.

Jon is paying in pound notes.

Cecil pays in American dollars, though right at the moment he's glad Bar is willing to take Strex script, since... well. He hasn't been paid in anything else for a hot minute.
