Hello Milliways! It's Wednesday again. I know this because yesterday was Tuesday and my show is back and it makes me soooo happy.

What's making you happy? Maybe you had good news at home or work. Maybe you hit all the green lights. Maybe your eggs at breakfast were cooked perfect.

Whatever it is, share it! Big victories, small pleasures, share your happy and spread some good vibes.

I accidentally broke the lid of a bench we have in our bedroom a week or so ago. Yesterday I got a new piece of wood and furniture staple gun, took apart the lid, and successfully installed the new wood and reupholstered the whole thing so it is better than new since I got a piece of hardwood rather than the plywood that had been the original.

Also new Jess comic today!

And Shang-Chi was so good.

Shang-Chi was SO good. I had so much fun watching it. I really enjoyed the score as well if you haven't given it a listen yet. :D

I was loving the score while I was watching, I should give it a go on Spotify today.

(I also not so secretly wish that if they bring Iron Fist back they tie it into the Shang-Chi mythos. I had serious K'un-Lun vibes from what they showed of Ta Lo.

So as mentioned, The Flash is back baby! And Ray was there which fills me with delight.

Other things that are made of good, I finished all of my Thanksgiving shopping! All I need are a few fresh ingredients that I can grab or have delivered next week and we'll be ready to get our feasting on.

My birthday is next Friday and I have all the goodies coming my way. I think today I'll cash in my Edible Arrangements freebie and use my move theater freebies this weekend to see Ghostbusters.

I'm nearly finished with a big Minecraft project I've been working on.

The McRib is back and I know that it is a terrible, terrible piece of trash, but I have an addiction to them anyways and each mystery meat patty slathered in sketchy BBQ is somehow a delicious win for me. XD

The new Spider-man trailer is pure insanity and I am so here for it.

And man does the Spidey movie look insane. I know I've seen folks already worried it's going to be bloated but I don't care. Doc Ock! Green Goblin!

ETA: Dang it, now I am craving a McRib.

I got to see Hadestown last Thursday and I'd forgotten how amazing live theater is, and it inspired me with writing ideas. Next Monday I'm getting on the train and going to spend Thanksgiving week with my family for the first time since 2019. I was able to spend Christmas 2020 with them but not Thanksgiving. Also I love traveling by train, yes, I have to get up early but then I don't have to drive and can sit and read.

Also my work contract has been extended until the end of December and while I've plotted out my holiday vacation. I know that there's work for me at a place that I like, who are understanding of me going doing vacation now. I've oddly had more time off than I expected this week and last which is okay since I had a big week, two weeks ago. And it actually feels like winter, I love when its chilly and I can snuggle into bed.
