Monday DE: Now what?

Mrgh.

Nope. I got nothin'.

Tell me about bits of your pups' canon really needs more elaboration? Where does the plot cut off without further info? What are the Noodle Incidents you wish were un-noodled?

Feel free to write something to fill in the gaps of a given Noodle Incident.

22 years on, we still don't really know what the black orb placed in Gennai's back is.

Or we sort of don't know, at least. The novels, which are non-canon but which have had parts of them canonised (it's the novels that first went 'the Original Chosen were partnered with the Sovereigns' and that's confirmed in Tri), suggest that the orb is a prototype version of the same Dark Spore that turns Ken evil, and that's somewhat backed up by the fact that 01!Gennai is pretty morally grey, 02!Gennai even more morally grey than that, and Tri!Gennai is outright insane and evil. But there's been no on-screen confirmation.

For that matter, the last bit of Adventure we got, Last Evolution, ends with the kids losing their powers and their partners fading away, and we know that's not going to last because of the epilogue, but have no idea how that's going to be reversed yet. But Last Evolution is getting a sequel at some point, that's already been announced, so it might well be explained there.

For AUdventure, we barely know what Negamon/Abaddomon is. He's described as 'the Shadow of the Crests,' and it's indicated that the Chosen have battled him across multiple incarnations in multiple timelines/universes, but it's not clear what that means. Muddying matters is that the kids go on a big quest to complete eight stone tablets that will apparently let them defeat him, but then when completed the tablets just vanish, and the fact that when he's dying, Yamato makes a remark to the effect of 'You're no longer one of us. Live a better life next time,' before ruefully remarking that it's not his place to say that anymore.

not sure there really are any for either of my pups...

Peter Parker/Spider-Man - has so much history/backstory, even just in the MCU, there isn't a lot of 'wuuuuut?' maybe... MAYBE how/when his parents died, but we still have a few (supposedly) movies to go in the MCU to bring that up

Harry Dresden - his story ain't over yet, so it's hard to say what we don't know/hasn't been explained b/c Butcher's still writing it all (tho he's prolly got it all in his noggin).
