Thursday DE

The weekend is right around the corner, for those of us who can enjoy it. Hold fast.

I have an Apple watch and one of my fav faces has an analog watch face, which I am finding I need to re-familiarize myself with reading. Coming from a generation before digital readouts, this is amusing to me. Which leads me to today's question:

How competent is your pup with switching between different tech or levels of tech?

Wei Wuxian: Doesn't really get modern tech, but given enough time and a good safety rundown on how not to electrocute himself, he'd probably sort it out soon enough. He'd probably take to coding, it's like making new talismans, but with less chance of spiritual blowback.

Klaus: ... look, boy isn't that great with current tech. He's got his little walkman and he's conversational with how phones work, and that's enough. The only exception is guns. He's been well trained in the handling and use of guns. Thanks ever so much, daddy Hargreeves.

Cecil: If it's for broadcasting, he can make it work. He has badges in this, folks. He's pretty sure there's only two websites on the internet though, and one of them is for the library, and generally a bad idea to go to.

The other one is Amazon. Obviously.

Jon: He's got a normal Millenial's grasp of tech - he's comfortable with computers, but he remembers the Before Times vaguely and can make earlier tech work, but it's more old-fashioned in his book.

And later he knows how to Make It All Work, but that's more of a side-effect than a perk at that point.

Harry... laughs at technology as it fizzles and sparks

Peter... is tech-savvy af, but would do okay with simple and older stuff too - b/c he'll take it apart to see how it works n' such
