First, hi! :) Thanks for not, you know, thinking I was weird or something there? I didn't want to just DM a character journal in the absence of some other known means of contact, so.

Second, this is a prompt fill at rthstewart's three-sentence ficathon... but it's from way, waaaay the heck back. I'm totally that person who goes looking for unfilled prompts from previous years, with intent to fill them if they inspire me and I have half a clue about the canon(s). Someone else has said they imagine the unanswered comments themselves feeling forlorn, and I'm the same way. I kinda had feelings about Gennai's answer to Maki, post Bakumon's loss, and about the underlying assumptions (structures? not sure what to call them, but anyway the *reasons* Maki was deemed unworthy, and by whom), and besides, I liked your Kitamura. I worry I've done Kitamura a disservice; no idea if she's anywhere close to how you imagine her.

Uh, should I have even gone here, seeing as I basically played with one of your NPCs without permission? I say sorry.

Definitely not weird! And it's completely fine to go there -- I'm pretty sure I borrowed Kitamura as the name of Ebonwumon's partner from someone else who'd noticed the north-west-south-east-centre theme for Nishijima and Himekawa's names anyway.

I really enjoyed the fic, too! I would've given it a kudos or a like if DW had that kind of feature, but as it is I've just bookmarked it.
