...Am deeply amused that among the new pairings to watch is Beatrice/Kassandra (theirloveisexpressediniambicpentameteranddactylichexameter). There's also Guildenstern/Rosencrantz, but I'm not sure who is going to be surprised by this.

Approximately, a line of poetry in six dactyls, those being feet with the rhythm "long-short-short". Most ancient Greek poetry is written in it, although I suppose Kassandra was quoting Sappho and she used sapphics (hence the name of the form)... K. and B. were throwing poems at each other back and forth for half the night. It was quite cute.

All I know about the Player is that his name showed up on the Cast List under R&G, and that his journal exists but there are no posts in it yet. But yeah, he's a fantastic character.
