Friday DE
Hello, children. Once again, our ceaseless wanderings on the wheel of days have brought us around to Friday. The word 'Friday' is, of course, derived from 'Day of Frying,' referring to its popularity as a day for eating churros and other delicious fried dough foods don't check.
Anyway, today's DE, inspired by watching a ton of Lost in Adaptation between work, particularly the episode on the terrible, whitewashy adaptation of Wizard of Earthsea, found here:
What would a really bad adaptation of your pup's canon look like? Exactly how far could a potential adaptationer go to just completely wreck the themes, character arcs, and vibe of canon? Does that adaptation already exist in some form, and if so, how could it be made worse?

I'm not sure there's a worse way of adapting the First Lady of Captain America Comics than by giving her storylines, personality traits, and even her classic outfit to other characters, erasing her screen time, torpedoing her great love story, and then making her a villain. And not even a good villain! A villain that makes no sense.
I guess... she could be HYDRA. That would be worse.
