Thursday DE: I just realized I need to be anywhere but this room
Watchout folks, I've started listening to Writing Excuses again.
How does your character deflect when they feel awkward, nervous, or embarrassed?

Jessica uses snark and asking her own awkward questions to deflect. It's not always effective.
Viv says she does not get nervous, embarrassed, or awkward. She is lying to herself. I think she falls back on cuttingly insightful direct questions to bring the attention elsewhere.
Ben doesn't have to deal with these situations given Klaus is the only person who can see and interact with him. I am not sure what he would do within Milliways. Maybe stammer and stall.
Sabine doesn't do awkward but would totally stomp out of the room or turn her music louder.
Wen Qing just presents her cold mask. Maaaybe she will threaten with some medicinal (acupuncture) needles.
