Mrgh. Monday. On the upside, finally some sunshine!
After seeing an affectionate parody of it on stage this weekend, I'm currently re-reading Pride and Prejudice. P&P has maybe the most famous opening line in English-language literature:
"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."
It's probably also the most parodied. And in that fine tradition...
Re-write the opening line to make it fit your canon(s)!
