They can be a combination of:

a) Lawful, Neutral, or Chaotic.

b) Good, Neutral (neutral + neutral makes True Neutral), Evil.

And

c) Dog, Rabbit, or Cat.

So Yamato for example is Chaotic Good Dog. Eden is True Neutral Cat.
