Gaster has his two sons, who, despite being clones, mean the world to him. He can't wait to see them again.

Urania has her mother and sisters, who she adores. Her father, on the other hand...well, those feelings are complicated.

Phoenix does not canonically have any blood family that we know about. I headcanon that he has a mother, but the two of them aren't close. That's okay, though - he has Trucy.

Lup's only remaning family is Taako, and he's the other half of her heart - even if he can be a doofus sometimes.

Yamato's got quite a lot of living family. His brother Takeru, his father Hiroaki, his mother Natsuko, his maternal grandparents Michel and [Unnamed Grandmother], and his unnamed paternal grandfather, at least.

His relationship with them is -- variable. Hiroaki's acknowledged in story to be well-meaning enough but basically useless as a parent. At the time of 01 Yamato hasn't seen Natsuko for four years (and has only seen Takeru once each year), and while he's built up a good relationship with his brother by the time of Tri six years after that, it's pretty heavily implied that he still keeps Natsuko (and by extension Michel and his maternal grandmother) at arm's length.

At least in 01, a lot of the conflict between Yamato and Taichi revolves around them feeling insecure about their own relationships with their younger siblings and seeing an idealised, perfect version of what an older sibling should be in the other one. Taichi is a present, fun older brother for Hikari but is well aware that he's also pretty thoughtless and flaky in a way that isn't ideal for dealing with a chronically ill younger sister (and has gotten her hospitalised before), and envies Yamato for being unfailingly protective of Takeru and always cognisant of his needs. Yamato is protective and responsible with Takeru, but is well aware that he's overbearing and cold, and envies Taichi for being able to emotionally connect with Hikari.
