For my sanity would the people who responded to my post here with intent to participate be so kind as to send me summaries of your fandoms?

I haven't seen Ranma 1/2 in years, ditto with reading Wheel of Time, never heard of Anthy's fandom. Luna I can work with, however.

Thank you so much, in advance. It'll make the dreams easier to personalize if I don't need to learn all of your canons.

How detailed are we talking, here? The full fandom, or just as would pertain to the character? Because a summary of the full fandom will end up practically a novel in itself.

There's a really crappy background writeup on Mat's info page. I need to fix it, and soon, so I'll do that tomorrow, and I can get you more info then, than what's already there.

The write up on his page will be a great place for me to start, then a couple of things you thing would muck with his head.

Sounds good. I've just finished writing cow!romance, so I think my brain's nearly shot, anyhow. I was more curious because I'm not going to be around much, if at all, Thursday through Sunday afternoon.

While that full combination sounds pretty atrocious, I do recommend drunken Wheel of Time. It's even better than sober!WoT.

To be perfectly honest, I got as far as book 8 and said "Enough, no more, I need to go do something else."

I've decided to post them in person-specific locked posts on Dream's journal, so they can go at pretty much any speed. No worries on the "you being gone" front.

I'm still plodding along. I'm just finishing up book 8. I haven't even touched 9 and 10 yet. My attention span's too short. I love the series, but I have to read other stuff, too.

Sounds perfect. When I'm here, I'm pretty quick to move along (the joys of being as yet unemployed), but this weekend could be spotty. I know I'm shipping Lizzie back to her time for the weekend, so I'll only have Mat and the Cow to contend with if I have the time.

Wll yeh kin read the Destruction post, previously, if yeh haven't already, so that may give you ideas. I have a couple of plots a-brewing, and i must say i applaud your on-the-fly the other night. i think the lines were just right tween Destruction & Dream.
Destruction has... issues, however. Desire being one, and, as the first 'family ' member he met, Death is another. With Dream, it's just the remnants of ol fashioned Jewish guilt, i guess. He knows he's responsible for Delight/Delirium, but didnt experience it firsthand, just by proxy as it were.
Or something.

As the prior post stated, Dream is looking for pawns.

Destruction is Endless, and wasn't part of the games Desire et. all played. Therefor, he's not eligible for pawn-hood.

I'm good at reading, and when it comes to this kind of thing quite happy to do all the research needed....but if I don't need to do it, I'd rather get a summery.

Part of John's canon is that very early in "Sandman" he helped Dream get his bag of sand back, so Dream relieved him of nightmares. So, sorry, but no more nightmares for John, please. :)
