Er--sorry 'bout Hornblower's extended leave of absense... :(

I have a break coming up, and I was thinking of playing Mrs. Whitaker from Neil Gaiman's short story, "Chivalry," for a few days. 'S about a normal, putter-y sort of widow who finds the Holy Grail in a thrift shop. Check it:

Then again, I might play Agnes Nutter...anyone have preferences? How long do apps take these days? *bows down at feet of mods, kisses shoes*

...If you think you can pull off Agnes Nutter well, then go for it like whoa, I'd say. 'S a hard voice to do well. (Also, it'd prolly require a fair bit of working with other muns, so far as the prediction bit goes - since she's renowned (or not, whatever) for being accurate, you'd have to find out other people's plottish things beforehand.)
As for the character you've already made an LJ for, I remember the story, but in that vague sort of 'I read it way long ago' way. Can't really help with icons, sorry. Looks like she'd be aninteresting character to bring in, though.

Ah, see, that's the thing. I'm incredibly lazy, and playing a prophetess (even intermittantly) would require a lot of background work.

But then again, I'm evil enough to want to do it anyway...

By the way, this is Hornblower-mun. Wotcher! I'm not sure you were aware we're the same person. Anyway, you've seen my previous Agnes endevour, Alpha/Beta (http://archive.skyehawke.com/story.php?no=6556). :D

*grins* Nice to see you back! Apps aren't being done right away, these days, just because we get a lot and we're all busy folks. But give it a week and we should have it taken care of. :)
