Luuuuunaaaaa!!!! I missed you last night! Sure, why not. There is now a portrait to Diagon Alley in Door's house - Door is from (checks book) 1996. So 1996 Diagon Alley, however that works out with Luna's time frame, I forget what year she's from.
*sniffles* It's not my fault! I was dragged away from the computer by my sister. She has this odd idea that I should have a real life. Huh. Psycho. :D
1996 Diagon Alley? Wait, wait, this might work. *scribbles some math down* OMG SCORE YES IT WORKS I LOVE YOU, DOOR! Wow. That's... really cool, actually. I now have an excuse for my absence, and all future ones. :D
Weeeeeell, in Milliways-fanon, there's an entrance to London Below somewhere in Knockturn Alley, but we never quite figured out WHERE in London Below it showed up. It certainly wouldn't go straight to Door's house.... but if we've put a portrait of Diagon Alley in the house, presumably there's a way back? Maybe Tom enchanted a painting in the Leaky Cauldron, and nobody would notice a wizard pulling out their wand and disappearing?
I think I'll go with the Leaky Cauldron portrait idea. It's convenient, and it isn't all that hard to believe he would do it. There are two modern magic-users living in the house. Should I inform Vivien of what her character was doing when she wasn't looking? :D
Heh - actually Tom already had that set up, so NYEAH NYEAH NYEAH. (I just forgot to say where the portrait was.) But Luna could take her own portrait to her own time at the Leaky Cauldron.
Silly lass, thinking you can slip me up so easily :P
Ad the Best Part About this is that Door is from Luna's time. I did the math and anything. In my head it's the summer of 1996, which is Door's year. XDXD
In Peter's head, it's also 1996--July 1996, to be precise.
I'm enormously pleased that Door, Peter and Luna are all from the same year.
I'm not sure that Peter can use the Diagon Alley portrait, as he can't seem to get back to his world yet. (Being alive, he can go out the front door of Milliways, but the path outside the front door just loops around in a complete circle, taking him back to the bar. I think The Landlord wants Peter to stay put.)

How would Luna get back? Was that in the book?

Who is The Landlord, anyway? Is it just a figment of our imaginations?
