VH wolf plot - part 3

This is the logistics stuff...

1) I'll be running a chat to keep up with everything / one. It'll be on AIM b/c MSN msgr makes my PC run super-duper slower than usual. I think I have everyone's AIM name, if not, Danii probably does and mine is: hghlnder2 so you can ping me to get in if I don't have you.

2) I'll probably set the chat up between 1830 and 1900 EST

3) How the plot will play out: VH!wolf will bound or slide through the doors; people will scream/faint/run away; stuff will happen - this'll be in the 1st post - ~15 min's to VH-midnight. Wolf stuff for a while (probably about 30-45 minutes - depending on posting speeds and LJ's cooperation); then there will be a short period where VH!wolf is VH-in-tattered-pants and he reveals the mysteries of the ages tells someone - probably Natalie - that Beowulf has the antidote tacked to his collar. Then, more Wolf stuff.

2nd post - the 'One Minute to Midnight' post -- a new thread will begin for each strike of the clock toward midnight. (VH-time midnight, not bar midnight- egads) Near the end of this thread - about the 9th or 10th strike - people will be trying to pin him down; then about the 11th strike, Natalie will die of smush admin the antidote... yay!


Now - just a few bits and pieces for everyone to keep in mind as this plays along...


** Keep in mind that 95% of the people/beings/etc in the bar will NOT know that this giant wolf is Van Helsing


** who *will* know? - the Endless (duh), Nick Knight, Mina Harker, Rose, those who know him well enough to 'see' through the wolf to the man (note - there really aren't many ppl in the bar who know him this well - Nick, Mina and Rose are about it and Rose (if she's around) might have trouble since he won't be able to speak); Harry Dresden and Bob - but neither of them will be in-bar at the time - or any other wizards with Third Sight; possibly - other werewolves - Oz, Lupin, etc.


** most people will probably do the 'scream and run away' thing to avoid injury; anyone not directly involved in the plot - feel free to flail and pass out in a post outside the VH!wolf posts - esp if passing out / fainting from just *seeing* the wolf - so other ppl can help you w/o bogging down the plot thread with medical attn.


** However, once Beowulf starts barking his head off - anyone who knows that this particular Irish Wolfhound belongs to VH should be able to put two-and-two together and do the 'aha! it's VH!' thing... catching on and insisting that people NOT kill him.

** Also - anyone listed as a 'victim' - keep in mind that if you are an 'evil' character - VH in wolf form can still sense that - he might not care one way or the other, but it's possible that the evil characters might get more snapped at and maimed than the good ones.

Is it entirely within reason that some of the severely injured might not run away, but might try to stop the werewolf because they're pigheaded idiots with a Saving People Thing?

Totally! Anyone on the cast list can try to stop the werewolf...

most will probably be almost dead of smush, but yeah - feel free to get the pups injured by 'trying to help' ... ;)

LC = evil, yes. 90% of vampires end up on VH's evil-o-meter

*bows* er - well, actually, I'm a) kind of a control freak; b) have shoulder issues that won't let me stay up 'til 5am; and c) likes ppl to know what's going on - b/c, personally, I hate being in the dark 'bout stuff

prolly doesn't hurt that i've been planning this since about September, no? ;)

Are there healers/medical personnel lined up? I know Nita-mun offered her pup's services, but I was just wondering if there were any others, as otherise poor Nita will be rather busy (unless we're going to pretend she can be in five places at once :->). I was just thinking too that maybe who the healers will tend to (& when, if they have to serve more than one patient) should maybe be decided beforehand so they know when to jump into action and who to tend to--and so some poor pup isn't bleeding to death on the bar floor unnnoticed. :-)

That might be nice. :) Nita won't be good for more than about three major healings. And a healing order would be helpful too.

I really hate to do this, but I'm going to have to cancel. I got pulled into doing a concert tomorrow night, which runs smack into the plottiness. (If I can spare some time, I'll jump in and help when I can, but it's doubtful I'll be anwhere near a computer for most of the evening.)
