Setting Question

So, given that woods and lake out back are based on the Hogwarts grounds in Scotland, and that I live in California* which is not even remotely close--

What's the current weather situation there? Still snow? Melting snow and lots of mud? Spring, with plants and green things? I am quite curious!

*California has early summer, 100 degF in the shade Summer, late summer, then a small period of time when it rains and things are green. These four seasons are very out of sync with the rest of the world, so I have no idea what's normal elsewhere. *meep*

ETA: You all rock. Ok, actual weather forecast? Cold. v. Cold. And prolly raining. (wow. Rain, what a foreign concept!)

I've been wondering the same thing, myself.

We've had snow, we've had sunshine, but that most-prevalent precipitation is nowhere to be seen. We've had no rainstorms at Milliways, as far as I can remember.

It's almost spring. It should rain a lot some.

/two cents

We were playing it as slushy/muddy for the doorplot. Whether that is accurate...dunno.

According to Tracy, who actually lives in Scotland, it is raining a lot, very cold, but no snow.

It's raining, with no sign so far of green ANYTHING in regards to trees. But at least, it hasn't snowed since mid-February, has been quite sunny until recently, but is RAINING and very COLD.

... I'm 20 minutes from Glasgow. Further north, it's still not snowing, but COLDER.

Brr.

RAIN!!!!!!!

If ever you're wondering about Scottish weather? Assume rain. Assume wind. Generally assume the worst. Even in the middle of summer.
