random observation-type things

*Door/Tom Riddle OTP! (And as far as I know, that's a personal first - I'm not much of one for crossover OTPs, or RPG OTPs that I don't have a character in.)
*Seems we've got another case of layered character - Peter! Wow. I haven't been keeping up with all of the brunch thread, but I hit the backstory thing and... ::jaw drops::
*Speaking of wings, something I archived on my Good Omens site: Pride, by mahwlee.
*Generalised applause to all of you who're contributing to and/or keeping up with The Threads That're Eating New York State As We Type. I'm not even managing all of them.

Of COURSE! It was one of those things that pulled me over the edge to join. I've been reading everything in the whole bar... and I mean EVERYthing... to see if there was any playing as good as that. And lo, I have found it. Good thing I joined as a completely nonsexual character... might get carried away.

(will instead keep the baboon stocked with dates in exchange for fables)

Your story -- was that telling completely off the top of your head?

My gaw.

Haha, yes, and I was so completely panicked that I didn't think too hard, and it worked. I don't even know the Fool's fandom, so I was hoping the stories of betrayed kings are all close enough that this would mean someting to him. Whew. Didn't offend him too badly, I think. IRL I am a horrible storyteller. It helps to have archetypes.

oh my god that story was fantastic!
and it did fit in with the fandom beautifully, I was trembling almost as much as the fool would have been.

(by the way, I really do recommend the Robin Hobb books)
