Morpheus' (Drunken) Night.
Not so much a single threadzilla as a collection of threadzillettes...
First, Dream gets a note from Hob telling/asking him to lay off Anthy. Then Death informs him that they are going to get drunk because Constantine stood her up. They decide to do something to Desire. Death and Dream welcome Cordelia freaking Naismith Iloveherplayertodeathjustforthinkingofit to the bar and continue their rapidly-becoming drunken dicussion. Then Dream decides to toast Mortals in general and does so which leads to drunken singing on the part of Death and Dream. After a couple songs Tere comes up and asks if they're angling for her job. Dream asks if Death wants him to torment Constantine, the females decide they're going to regret this in the morning. things get meloncholy for a bit. A long bit. Dream, nervous of having two weepy women trys to cheer things up with a different song. Then Death passes out allowing Morpheus and Tere to share the scotch more easily. Next, Dream waltzes Tere and they try to cheer each other up until Tere also passes out, wherein Dream gets her a room and leaves her there (alone!). Then he went and talked to Elizabeth who was quite amused at the dancing.
