Hob shows up with a kitten. Anathema comes over and he informs her that it is called His Imperial Majesty Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon. They snark about whether or not that's an appropriate name for a kitten, or an appropriate name at all.

Anthy comes in and acts very frightened and strange. Hob gets her to confess that it's because of a nightmare, and he leaves a note for Dream telling him to lay off Anthy. Anthy ends up crying. Hob hugs her. It is amazingly sweet.

Regulus comes over and pets the cat. He and Hob have an interesting conversation about death. They talk about the lake party. There is subtext..

The last main thread has to do with Paul coming over and being nonplussed at the cat, and getting into a huge showdown with Hob. When it finishes, I shall consider a summary.
