*raises another hand belonging to another romantic English major* Quoting Yeats=awesome. Quoting Mary Oliver=fantastic. I am always pleased to see poetry written in my lifetime... not enough people read poetry these days, and it's so good.
I wish I had a character who could IC-ly wander by quoting Paradise Lost. Lyra can't, since she's effectively in Paradise Lost.
(Not that Paradise Lost was written in my lifetime, but that I've been reading it lately and I keep seeing sections that remind me of Crowley and Aziraphael.)
*looks at left hand, stretched out* Barbie. *stretches out right hand, turns head to right* Paradise Lost. *looks left again* Barbie. *and right* Paradise Lost.
Barbie, if you can successfully quote Paradise Lost, my brain might just be blown out of existence. *This is a dare.*
*snorts her coffee* Ow! But oh, so brilliant. *plots*
I will try my best. Barbie is awful, she's going to try to help tempt an angel, and she wants to make an Old One drunk *shakes her head sadly* What is the world coming to, eh?
Si! This is so not my fault, I just have a little, horrible version of Barbie in my head that has now been let loose. *fears*
Not doing it yet, there was just a challenge and then it was decided that I should have Barbie here by the true evil overlord, Lizzie *hides* So, she's basically here to make him drunk one way or another. She needs to meet him first though *blushes* I got really into it and forgot through my torture of others.
Yes! Come, help, the more people the better! Plus, we get free virtual drinks. It's so worth it. *grins*
If Luna comes on, Barbie is going to speak to her. Mwah ha ha. Although she's mellowing out for the night, so she may be only slightly evil and insulting. *loffs Barbie with all her evil, evil heart*

...You're on, if only because I like the excuse to reread Paradise Lost *grins*

If you can use it to continue Lyra's campaign of tempting Aziraphael, I will love you forever.
You're Akane, aren't you? Evil, evil, evil.

I'm almost sure that 'perfect ending' could be used here, even if it doesn't end up so. I'm happy enough to call it that already.
