Invitation to plot
Gil Whimple, Eskarina Smith and Asar-Suti the Seker (or rather, their muns) invite you all to:
The backstory: in January, Gil unknowingly brought a Hellfly back with him to Milliways from Purgatory. It made him overtly paranoid and unstable until David, Esk, and Asar-Suti helped catch the fly and put it into a magic-proof jam jar for further study - which never happened.
Now the Hellfly is going to get loose again, but this time around, it isn't going to drive people paranoid, it's going to take away characteristic, attributes and abilities and give them to others.
At first, nobody IC-ly knows why it happens; the redistribution isn't that obvious, and the Hellfly is sneaky.
The effect is over the moment somebody swats and destroys the fly; within the next twelve hours (to allow for time zones), everybody then gets reverted to what they were.
We'd like to invite people to join into the plot, by letting us know what ability/characteristic your characters should lose, so we can arranage a daisy chain of abilites being passed from one to the other through the Hellfly.
We plan for the jam jar to break on May 27th, after which, we'll buzz the characters taking part in the right order (cheating/millitiming only a little to avoid the plot getting stuck if somebody's on a very different time zone), and then each mun plays out their character being changed (and probably searching for a reason) until the fly gets swatted or otherwise defeated between June 3rd and 5th.
This should be a good opportunity to explore other sides of your characters' personalities by taking away something that normally inhibits or determines them, or making them wildly OOC by giving them something radically different from what they're normally like. For example (not that I think it would happen), how about a shy and modest Fleur, or Anthy drinking coffee? That sort of OOC. If you're interested in having one or several of your pups take part, please send an email with the name and LJ of your pup, your AIM/Y!M if you've got one, and the attribute your pup(s) might lose to the Hellfly to:

Next weekend, we'll see what we've got, provisionally work out some suggestions, and then talk to the muns about what attributes are available for their pups to gain so we can work out the full chain.
