MOD POST. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION.
If you know anyone in the community who doesn't read the back room, please point them in this direction. I'll be posting a notification in the main bar, also, and will update the userinfo of the community to link to this post.
In other words, THIS IS IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ.
We've added another option in the long and varied list of ways of contacting us.
We understand that it can be nervewracking, approaching a mod. This is one of those things that's a universal truth - we're not scary people individually, really we're not, but we are in a position of power and it's therefore understandable that people may be a little leery of coming to us with problems. However, I will say that we are unable to tackle any problems unless they are brought to our attention.
In the past there have been faint rumblings of favouritism and the like. As much as we try not to allow that to happen, there are times when we've dealt with the problems of our friends, for the simple reason that they are prepared to approach us and let us know when there's a problem. If you tell us about a problem, we will look into it and we will do our utmost best to sort it out to everyone's advantage.
This does include if your problem is with one of the mods. You are free to email us individually if you'd rather not have your identity revealed to the entire group of us. If you provide as much information as possible, we will then speak to the individual involved without revealing where the information comes from.
Again, there may be people suspicious of this as a practice, which is why we've come up with yet another way to make your lives easier.
There is now a mun email account. The address is anonymun(at)googlemail.com and the password is anonymous.
You can use this email address to contact the mod account without revealing your identity. We will treat it as we do any request - by investigating the circumstances, and dealing with it as we see fit. The fact that you choose to remain anonymous will not affect it in any way.
So. Contact details:
The Mods can be reached at milliways.mods(at)gmail.com with any problems, requests or queries.
Nny is on villainny(at)livejournal.com and on AIM as annysthetized.
Sophie can be reached at copinggoggles(at)livejournal.com, on AIM as scuba soph and Y!M as llemun.
Josie is at muffinbutt(at)livejournal.com, on AIM as querulous rows and on Y!M as muffinbuttworm.
Meg's address is indy_go(at)livejournal.com and can be reached on AIM and Y!M as meggouc.
We'd really appreciate it if you'd make use of this. We want you to be happy in the game, and if there is something we can sort out we'd much rather you came to us about it than let it fester or went off to complain on
bad_rpers_suck or the like. If you haven't taken the time to come to us then you really have no cause to complain about our methods.
Needless to say, if the email account is abused, we'll just stop responding to the emails.
I hope that suits. If anyone has any suggestions for us, pop 'em below.
Thanks.

But since people'll only really send from it, it probably won't matter anyway.

It might be a good idea to delete the "sent mail" folder after you send stuff from there.
Y'all are brilliant. :)
