David gave Charlie a mini-golf course for his birthday today. It's got pinwheels and garden gnomes and plastic kids' golf clubs. Due to emotional upheaval, the game went unfinished and the course is still out by the lake.

Have fun.

Heads-up to Ted Brautigan-mun:

As per this thread -

You've got your date off.

By a LOT.

Normally this doesn't really matter all that much, although it can be annoying when you scan back and find that you've gotten the month wrong.

However, April 8, 2005 is off enough that it bounces the calendar view for the community to 2005 instead of 2004.

... Just thought you might like to know it was off so you could perhaps fix it.

Yes, that's right. I am looking for someone to help me with a Hyde-plot that involves a bit of canon puncturing. Not of the "you're not real" variety (that's the non-Milliways-friendly kind), but it would involve telling Hyde where he's from, and dealing with the fallout surrounding that.

You must be (ICly):
- From 1998 or later
- Someone who's seen "That '70s Show" (knowing a bit OOCly would help but isn't necessary)
- Willing to talk to me on AIM and drink cherry pop with Satan.

Drop me a line here or IM me; my SN is ketchup for zest.

Thanks and woot!

Could I possibly get one of you talented people to work up an icon or two for Michael? From Season 1 or 2 of "Roswell", preferably, when he still had the spiky hair.

I'll pay you back in kind if you do. *grins*

I have stumbled across a problem with the point in time where Bill comes from and have been trying to work on a way out of it since it hit me yesterday morning.

I have made a post explaining it all (as best as I can right now anyway) HERE. The post is locked to Harry Potter characters and game moderators only. I have added to the filter all of the HP journals I could actually find but if you play a HP character and you can't see the post, leave me a comment here and I'll add your character's journal to the filter.

This won't affect a lot of characters but it might affect charrys like Tonks, Remus, Kingsley, Charlie, Molly, Arthur and all the other "high rank" Order members. That is why I really want opinions/suggestions on it.

Thank you in advance! :)

FYI:

The scene between Bernard and Aziraphael is finally finished, and it's pretty funny. :D

So unless anyone objects, Lord Peter will be putting plans into motion to endow a library at Milliways, in the coming weeks.

Jake ([livejournal.com profile] boy_not_lost) has expressed an interest, and Peter intends to hire Remus in some kind of supervisory capacity. Other Bound (or unbound, whatever) players are welcome to make use of the library or apply for employment. Or donate books. Peter has realised that if there are nine thousand kinds of tea, think how many books there are...

This also means that L-Space* may become a valid method of travel to and from Milliways. And Peter would, of course, adore to speak to the Librarian, if he's around. My goodness, it's an orangotan....

* L-Space being a Pratchettian theory based on the idea that knowledge = power = energy = matter = mass. It means essentially that every library is connected to every other library, or large collection of books, at any point in time, and if you know how, you can travel from place to place via bookshop. Peter's been doing a variation of L-Space travel, without realising it, since he found Milliways.

I just wanted tell Ash-mun and Shaun-mun that their interaction, short though it was, made me SOO happy, and that I hope to see them interact again. And possibly fight...the zed-word, at some point. But then, that's just me.

You. Nysus. Bar. Yay!

Now playing! Now closed to new posters so that I can wrap up what's in there in time to sleep. Yay!

With the library et. all floating around, I just wanted to point out something that will, eventually, become plotty goodness for the Arithon-going-home plot.

*sidelong looks toward Andrew!mun*

Arithon can't hear his canon. Quite literally. If another character stood in front of him saying "And then, after that, you end up spending a year living on the beach." he simply wouldn't hear it. He is totally, 100% bound to canon and (something) won't let him find out what is going to happen.

So the geek squad may wander about with it to their heart's delight.

I need icon help! If someone wise in the ways of making avatars could ping me at blackberrystag (AIM), it would be much appreciated. Its for an evil idea I had.

Er...

Apparently I was stealing someone's thunder with the library, and [livejournal.com profile] empath_wiggin has been planning one for like, a month. Missed the back room post on that one.

Entirely my bad. Mea culpa, mea culpa maxima.

For things of Libraryish nature, I hereby direct you to her.

The milliquote the other day about Milliways in a thousand years cracked me up. Hence:

Could Ron Weasley-mun and Hermione Granger-mun both get in touch with me sometime soon? There shall be Plottage. And Girl Trouble. And possible Sorting-Out of Timelines.

Email me at maladict at gmail dot com (with proper punctuation and spaces, of course) or ping me on AIM, I'm rajrr101.

I probably won't be around for the rest of the night, but I'll try to reply ASAP - some stuff should be sorted out before Vicky reappears in the bar.
