Uh, yeah. So everyone's making banners, and in my burst of joy at finding Photoshop working again (Aspen rules) I decided to try a silly one.

The moral of this story is: figure out about how many people you'll need to include before you start, so you don't go "AHHHHH MOTHERLAND!!!" "AHHHH WHAT AM I DOING" halfway through.

Summary of last night only thankyouverymuch.

Setting the stage:
Andrew and Meg are in, and don't want to use the spell they found.  They have a conversation with Warren, it doesn't go well.  Pause them for a bit.

Death is here, and unhappy.

Moiraine's post.  Tom hands over the memories. 

We'll follow Tom for a bit.  He moves over here and watches.  Death, Tonks, Will, Bran, and Del join him.  They are watching Moiraine.

We go back to Moiraine.  Roland comes over and he and Moiraine talk for a bit.  He decides to offer a toast; the one from Season Of Mists.  Nyarlathotep shows up, and points out that saying that around Morpheus would hurt him.  Roland is far too manly to faint.  Moiraine is shocked and hurt.  Moiraine rallies, and attempts to hand over the box of memory stone.  It fails to work.  Threads come together, here; Bran calls the Wild Hunt, is thrown into (and knocks out) Tom.  Will decides to be a Big Shiny Target.  Andrew and Meg decide that the best place to cast a spell is standing on a table.

Moiraine is pretty sure she's going to die.  If he gets his claws on her, she's right.  Bran gets to be the Flying Welshman again, this time managing to get broken ribs and knocking himself out, as well as breaking Will's arm.  The table Andrew and Meg are on collapses, resulting in a broken wrist (Meg) and a broken arm and leg (Andrew).  The Yell Hounds of the Wild Hunt are confused without Bran to point  them. 

This is where Death gets involved, slapping the memories into Dream's hand.  It works.  There is reserved....there is schmoop.  With kneeling, and clinging.  Amusing note: there was clinging in the chat at the same time.

Roland runs over to help Meg.  Meg demands that Andrew get helped too.  Cuthbert helps Andrew.  They all go upstairs; its laaaaaaate.

Wash comes over to help Will and Bran.  Bran wakes up, is glad that everything is normal.  Everyone is glad that things are normal.  Healing happens, of Bran before he wakes up and Will afterward.  While this is going on, Dream gives peace to the people currently sleeping.  Then Dream makes things bearable for Wash.  He doesn't offer for the other three because they wouldn't like it.  People start going home.  With new icon for Dream and Moiraine.  Wash apologizes again, and the scene ends.

I love you all.  So.  Damn.  Much.

the Purgatory plot, part the first

This is the most involved plotline I've been a part of, spanning days, journals, communities . . . I'm still in awe. And the really scary part? Still not done yet with all the consequences.

Anyway: Summary part 1, from the island trip to the funeral. Still to come: actually going to Purgatory and the consequences thereof.
