Due to my computer suddenly aquiring large amounts of Adware, I might be slow to absent for the next week until I get my laptop back. Hopefully I can get Adaware to actually work and not freeze up. Just a heads-up. AIM works nicely, so if you do need me, ping me at conservegirl. Threads can be done there if you need any of my characters for anything. I apopogise for my abscence and any inconvenience.

Just to let you guys know.

A little while ago, the door opened into todash space. There was a great deal of conspicuous shooting, balefire, explosions, and monsters.

Some of them made it into the bar, before being blown to gooey bits. Then, there was a very large explosion, outside the bar but still shaking the walls and knocking people over.

If your character was in the bar, or is a light sleeper, it's a fair bet they would have noticed. :)

Edit: and if you would like to come ask the participants WTF just happened, here you are.

Who else is lagging terribly when they touch the Crackchat?

I've got the suspicion that AIM chat rooms, as they grow old and accumulate a lot of history, get unstable and cause laggage, and that it might be healthier to change the room once a week or so.

The last two times that I went in there, my computer behaved as if it was seriously on downers all of a sudden.

That is my present hypothesis. I need more evidence, though - so who else has problems, and for whom does the Crackchat work absolutely fine and fast? And, erm, can you say which operating system your computer has, as well?

Thanks you for your two cents!

Oh my God you guys, the internet cut out and I couldn't get back on. WAH. And I had a lovely Bernard exit post written. :( Should I post it anyway in the Loompa Thread?

If you're going to be involved in the Ethan plot in any way, please read and comment so we all know what's going on.

Thanks.

Alright, this is completely random, but I was just now thinking about how many of the big plotty things I've done here--Cuthbert's entrance, the fight with Walter, and, of course, last night, for example--have all been on Thursdays.

The logical reason for this is that all the DT kids and the other folken they interact with most all seem to have schedules that allow for staying up til all hours on Thursday. But of course, what immediately popped into my head was,

"This must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays."

Just felt the need to share that. Carry on.

:D

Just figured since I'm going into work early today and I won't get to see Danii 'til later...

I have so much love for my little God. This whole post killed me with the cute.

Just so you's know *grin*

An item of interest and a question:

The question first. )

An Item of Interest to Anyone that needs to get the Trips attention or to just shut them up:
A) People that the Triplets will actually pay attention to when told to do something. So far. List will change: )

I think that's it. They haven't met Faith yet, or any other woman that they fear a lot. Cally's too nice to them. ;) In fact, a lot of you guys are reeeally nice to them. That may be your downfall. ;)

And don't worry, they will NEVER hurt the Bar. Bar gives them Beetles.

The building site post that I suggested and that a few people quite liked the idea of is here.

A chance to meet the people one would normally have met over the staff quarter expansions.

ETA: The thread has run for eleven hours, and to 169 comments, and I am now going to bed - thanks to everybody for playing, it was great fun! *hugs* If you want to build some more, feel free to do it there, but there shall be no more live Asar-Suti conjuring nails and things.

Yo ho. I'm going away for two weeks, to get married. I shan't be online much and won't be Milliwaysing at all, so I will miss you all.

I will married on the 19th - not by choice, it's the Saturday before my Spring Break, so I'm stuck with it, oh Lord. Because I need more DT in my life, marrying a girl named Suzy.

Anyway. Eddie is in stealth mode, working on a creative project and Joe is going to leave with Mina--I've worked it out with Mina-mun to god him on out the door. (Yes, Joe lost his pass, but he can - always could, if he had ever tried - leave with someone else as long as it isn't to his world or to a world-time where his canon exists. What, then, the point of his losing the pass was, I leave as an exercise to the reader.)

Faretheewell, my dear kas-tete-ka-Gan, singers of Krak-ka-Gan, the Song of the Crack. I'll be back.
