Idea regarding Dragon Con:

So, in crackchat lately, there seems to be a lot of the following:

Person Going to Dragon Con: Hey, anyone going to Dragon Con?
Other People Going to Dragon Con: Ooh, ooh, we are!
People Not Going to Dragon Con: Wah, I can't go and people talking about it makes me sad.
People Going to Dragon Con: *squeeing*--Oh. Um. Sorry. *stop talking about Dragon Con*

So--given that, and the fact that there are a lot of us going/maybe going, would it maybe be a good idea to set up a seperate chat for it? Could also be useful for coordinating meetings and suchlike, when the con gets closer.

What do you guys think?

Vacation Hours

Greetings.

I will be happily not in the office next week, which means that I will not be in the Bar so much. Oh, I will be around at odd hours (mainly 7 to 10 am EDT), but as I have to share my computer with Batya, and will be doing other things, and so on, I won't be around at the hours I usually am. However, when I am in the Bar, I will also be AIM-able and probably in chat.

Assume that Barry is around, doing what he usually does in the course of a day. And assume that Lando is coming and going. (Look for more Lando fanfic as well, time permitting.)

Also, as I have much work to finish today, any threads I am in might be suddenly slowed down, or interrupted. Apologies in advance.

Am being booted off the net for a week by my lovely shrew of a mother, because she thinks RPing and other puttering I do online is "unealthy escapism" and a "cry for help." (She hid the phone cord). Also, she is upset the phone line keeps getting hogged up, even though my brother (who's on nearly as much as I am) and I both agreed to mutually pay for cable. ("You should be paying off your student loans!" even though the most I can manage now is keeping the interest down and I make enough for me to pay for both that and cable).

Even if I'm not let on again in a week, I will be going to school on the 29th and spending hours here and there between classes at the computer lab at the library, so you shall see me again. Until then, however, the only time I can pop on is when I'm at the library, like right now.

So, Ron is still OOM, Harper's still OOM, Virginia's just puttering about on her own or with Wolf, Gaston is hunting the Tofu Beast, and I haven't played anyone else enough recently for it to really matter.

Hopefully, I will be back in a week, able to RP here and there on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays.

Firstly, thank you so much and all hail apoetneedspain who is my sister and has bought me icons. I am so happy. Sure I'm only using 60 odd of them, but...I still love it.

Secondly, relating to Aeryn plottage. She will be leaving Milliways for a few days, so look for her in the bar with a suitcase at some point tonight. However, in her own world's time this will be a year, so look for OOM's. She will leave notes for some people. Thank ya for listening.

Milliways Moment for Today

So, my fiances dad owns a skating rink.

Cool in and of itself, right?

We opened up after a month long break tonight. I also started working tonight.

Which, too, is rather sweet.

But the best part, is I walked in, and we had gotten new video games. One of which was the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game.

As soon as we closed up for the night, I opened that bad boy up, plinked myself up to maximum credits, and played to the end.....

As Raph, of course.
