Hey, Folken.

I know you haven't heard from Broom for a while, and maybe I should have said something before now, but hey. . .

I'm semi-retiring Broom.

He'll be removed from the community and I don't intend to post with him again, but he's not about to leave the bar. He'll be something of an NPC, somewhat on the same level as Bar -- you can play him to serve as ambient background weirdness or to clean up a mess, that sort of thing. All within reason, of course.

It was fun playing him while it lasted, but I never really grasped him as a character. I may comment on how I have no control over what Snow does, but Broom would rarely even let me know how he was feeling.

Many thanks to all who threaded with him, especially the questers.

Goodbye.

Although her goodbye thread is being slowtimed due to sleepiness, Erin Driscoll ([livejournal.com profile] _driscoll) is being retired. Also, John Locke ([livejournal.com profile] agreathunter) will be going on a vacation after "Lost" plotishness. He should return sometime later in the season.

Ahahahha. I don't often pimp myself. But.

Bernard and Anthy bury the hatchet.

I'm proud of this.

So, as many of you know, I am clearly insane have undertaken to write a link-filled summary of the Academy plot and things leading up to it.

I am also slow. :(

In the meantime, I am taking the opportunity to point out someone else's independent and brilliant work. Over at [livejournal.com profile] ways_news_net, PK ([livejournal.com profile] pat_rin) has done a lovely, lovely job of putting together some backstory in summary form for the major plots involving Roland Deschain, up to and including the Academy and the end.

Many thanks and much tea to PK, and I highly encourage y'all to read it. :)

(Yes, it was posted on August 19th. Did I mention I'm slow?)

Circus!

Eek, we still live. And Amy and I are still intent on putting on the circus.

If you guys are still interested.

For those who forget, as it has been a long time: Xander and Shelley are putting on a circus, which the Joker has finally been admitted to (reluctantly). However, there is reason to fear that the circus will be sabotaged. (Oh my!) If you're looking for wacky hijinks and a little organized mayhem, this is the gig for you.

Soooo, if you have a pup who is still interested in performing in the circus, please comment here. Also, tell us if a weekend three to four weeks from now sounds good. If not, or if you have any other comments/ideas, please leave them here.

So, my plans have been changed for me, and I am finally back online after having had NO ACESSS AT ALL for a whole week. But now I have only dialup, and can be on only a few hours every evening.

Which means that I can play less intensive pups like Falkor or Ginevra (Khayman, anybody?), and will bring back Asar-Suti next weekend when I'm back with my trusty Alice DSL.

I hope to use the week to plot and RP some nice reason why AS gets rescued from Fantasia, with the other NES muns, and Gil.
