Okay so.

Basically as I outlined here, Meg and I want to do a Tonks-Wrangle flat thread every week, a thing in which pups can just stop by for a thread, short or long, to say hi or just whatever. (See my post linked above for explanation.)

Heyla, folks. Since I vanished over the last few days, I figured I should give you an update.

I'm still without a home computer. You see, the police called and said they located a suspect and there might be a chance of getting my old one back. Since I'd really prefer not to get a new one if I don't have to, I've decided to wait another week before actually ordering another one. So irregular posting will continue for a bit. It's more irregular due to the fact that I caught the Stomach Virus From Hell, while visiting the 'rents over the weekend and my gut is still wanting to do the momba. But I should be able to get Naraht to Amanda's Christmas Party at least.

Milliways Squadron briefing

I meant to post this yesterday, but um. Kinda got carried away with KotOR.

So! Milliways Squadron! Your briefing is all set to go in the sim room. I've set it up sorta like a party thread, with headers for the certain bits of business that need to happen. You can post your reactions in separate comments, or threaded off of each other, or start threads with other pups that don't have anything to do with the business at all (i.e. Wes plotting in the back) but please, keep it under the headers.

Basically, I stole the formatting from a Security meeting because that looked like it worked.

So get to posting! I'll link to the main bar once it's done, but if you have to slowtime or if there's anyone who should be there but the holidays are messing with scheduling, we can tack them on as we go. It's all groovy.

Yet Another Leave Of Absence

Okay, so. Christmas holidays for me starts, oh, today. I'm flying home tonight - flight leaves in roughly 3 1/2 hours, two of which will be used to get up to the damned airport.

So, from now until the 6th of January, I will be scarce. And by that, I mean, more scarce than usual.

A Christmas Rhyme (Posted with Ron as Danny has no access to the back room)

Not that long ago upon a Tuesday night clear,
Nick aired an episode of Danny Phantom, celebrating the time of the year,
In it, Danny fought evil toys and spent all of his time,
being blamed for Christmas disasters, and (gasp!) talking in rhyme!

Soon the mun intends to let him finally leave,
Only to go back home to celebrate Christmas Eve.
She'll bring him back mid-episode, while he's still under the spell,
And it's a surety that it won't affect his sanity well.

That means that Danny will rhyme whenever he speaks,
It will last a few days, thankfully, rather than weeks.
Now, there isn't a whole lot that the mun asks from you,
just that all who talk to him will have to rhyme too.

Whether in narrative or in dialogue instead,
Rhyming must happen or this plot is dead.
The rhyming will go on so long as the conversation lasts,
but once they leave him, your pup will rhyme no more, it will have passed.

No one will know it's happening, other than Danny,
Not a god or a mundane or somebody's granny.
It's a holdover from his world, a strange, twisted ghost spell,
And having it found out would make plot not end well.

So if he goes on about rhyming, just go ahead and be lazy,
and have your pup roll their eyes and think that he's crazy.
He won't go up to anyone unless I'm given the okay,
so unless you want my half-ghost, I won't ruin your day.

Tis' all, that's it, this post is now done.
I hope you all decide to join in on my fun.
I'll post in here, when I've started the plot,
And then I'll get to make my pup's sanity finally rot.

Okay! So I have e-mailed everyone, except for one person who I still need to get in conatact with, with their Secret Santas.

Every e-mail has the name and password of an NPC account with which to post their gifts anonymously, as well as the link to where the presents are to be posted.

I tried my best to give most people someone they didn't know, because I think it's more fun that way. Hopefully I succeded. If I didn't, well it's not important and theres nothing I can do about it now.

Last year I'm sure there were a hell of a lot more pups signed up. I had enough trouble sorting out thirty pups this year. So I want to say a muchly belated thanks to the organisers of last years Secret Santa- sadly I don't remember who it was- how you did it, I have no idea *bows at your feet*
