I found this little gem going through some old files this morning, thought you might like it.

Some time ago (read: five years ago) I wrote to a guy friend of mine for help on an essay about Antigone. Here's what he had to say:

Antigone, a composite of the prefix Anti, meaning "to not be" or to "undo", and gone, meaning "having left", past tence of "to go". Combining the two results in "to not be gone", resulting in the obvious conclusion that Antigone means "Still Here!"

Okay, yes, stating the obvious.

HOWEVER!

She is. This is not only true, but she has given us a Sign. Or, at least, a place for people to muck about when the whole Battle Against Desh-theire is raging in the main bar.

Speaking of that.

All ye who signed up as "3". What day is best for you? Tuesday does not work for me.

Remember: only people who signed up get to vote on day. If you want to throw a character in on the day of, that is fine, but only: mogget_cat, futures_of_ash, latino_menace, last_human, a_lioness, wizard_kit, nitro_is_ace, merriman_lyon, goinghost, and vaapadmaster get to vote.

This is to make scheduling fair, and to make signing up mean something.

Immense creepy and massive incidental back and foreshadowing - for some things not both muns were privy to - of Doom ensued.

So, as you may or may not have read, as of this thread, Tonks will be taking Sunny and Anthony to the House of Arch to wait out the Mistwraith showdown extravaganza, and she and Bernard thought it would be a good idea to let other Bound kids/helpless patrons/etc etc know about the safe haven there, and sort of organize that whole thing.

HOWEVER.

I am having quite the week, and haven't the time to do this ICly. So if your character would like to go to the House with Tonks and the kids, you may consider it handwaved -- just reply here so I know who she spoke to ICly.

Viv has kindly set up a post here for just such an occasion. Tonks and her kids will be moving over to the House of Arch tomorrow, just so everyone's got an idea of timing.
