Dear Everyone,

I seem to be a safety hazard for talking to nowadays. In a jetlag relief program, I'm trying to make myself stay up later and later to get back in normal scheduly.

Meaning I tend to do things like fall asleep in front of my computer at 7 pm.

I'm so sorry to all of you I keep dropping, but I WILL get back to you. If there's a slowtime I've lost track of, tag me here or ping me. It's not that I don't love you, it's that a twelve hour time difference is not loving me.

Alright. So, I have finally gotten information out of my frelling frustrating father. Thus, for everyone's edification, this is what is up with me.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be unavailable for a week and a half. Details can be found in my journal, quinby. After that, I'm going to be moving to Nebraska to help my mom pack the house, and get my life back together. What does this mean? Well, I'll likely be around less than I have been. I will still be around, though, never fear. If anyone cares, before I leave, I will put up a f-locked address post in my journal. If you want to be added to see that, just let me know.

Anyway, rambling aside, My characters will be thus:

Biggs, Qui-Gon and Jane will be hanging around doing what they do best.

Ed Green is in NYC makin' the perps cry.

Valentine actually is going to be going through a string of OOM plot. Feel free to notice her not around.

Mark is filming in Santa Fe, but he's in and out. Aly and Jill have godding rights for him if he's needed. (Aly, if you want to write an OOM or two, go for it.)

I have a question with an extra added proposal.

With my schedule, I find myself living in slow time land. These slow times get finished more often than not. If they're OOM's, no problem - they get posted and all is well.

However, if they are bar threads, the slow timed threads get buried under the next day or two's worth of threads. I know for a fact that I miss finishing a lot of cool threads of other people's as well because I forget about them.

Would we be interested in having a "Finished Bar Slow Time Threads" post (with tag) every day or so in the Back Room? I know I'd like a chance to see what I'm missing. I'd be happy to make a post every day a la the Pimp posts.

Yea or nay?

I installed IE7 for tabbed browsing, and it doesn't work, and I can't open anything. Can anyone help me? I can't continue my threads, and I can't do anything on this computer, because Firefox is long since dead and I can't get it to work again even if I reinstall. Help help help please.

Finished Bar Slow Time Threads

Here is a place for posting what's finally been finished! This is not a pimp post. It's just the only way to keep up with in bar slow times. They need to at least have a little description, though, don't you think?

Tonight these of mine got finished:
Tom and Draco spoke for the first time since Tom's capture and subsequent rescue.

Ingress and Mal had a good time, till Mal got sad. Wah.

Okay. So. Some of you may know that I suffer from a dodgy modem, isp, and phone line. Yes. All three. One of the above seems to have died a final and iredeemable death. Possibly after I screamed at it after it had fallen over for the fourth time in fifteen minutes, and hurled it across the room. (Or, you know, probably not, It didn't make me feel better, anyway. Sigh.)

Now, much though I would love to throw AOL across the room, or the BT phone line, alas, I am puny and they are not. Thusly, it would be safe to assume that the modem is, irretrievably, COMPLETELY, TOTALLY AND UTTERLY FUCKED.

I'm usually online at work 11.30 - 8pm, GMT signed into gmail as conciseprecis @ gmail . com (so pissed I can't even remember my own email address? = Very Very Angry) corchen @ gmail . com. So I can be reached, if nothing else. I'm posting from the neighbours, who are lovely, but it looks as if I may be suffering Teh Intarwebz Dethzors. This makes me very, very sad.

I have not dropped off the face of the internet. . . by choice.

*sigh*
