Okay! As of this thread, it is officially after midnight at the masquerade. Similar to the Hush plot, in which the box has been sprung and voices are returned, you can react to the toll of midnight at your leisure. No pressure. All new threads are being re-routed to a special after-midnight subthread in each category.

Remember, midnight = all masks off, and no excuses. Mel will rip them off of each individual if she has to. (It won't be pretty.)

An Update on the House of Leaves Plot

H'okay, so! ( Subject to change, here's the cast for the plot. )

I got a much bigger response than I was expecting, and there were a lot of characters I wanted to take, but just didn't have room for. Like I said, though, the list is subject to change -- if somebody has to drop out because of RL or another reason, I will definitely be tapping other pups to take their place. :) Also, a few people told me that they wanted to have a pup participate, but didn't specify which one; I'll be e-mailing you guys later.

Ideally, timeline-wise, this is going to begin preplaying in early October. Said preplaying'll probably run for about two weeks, with the whole thing posted to the bar in mid- to late October. Unfortunately, I can't give more exact dates than that right now -- I'm starting grad school in two weeks, and need to size up what my free time's going to be like before setting anything in stone. But more information will come when I have it!

Internet at home will be hooked up some time in the next two weeks. In the meantime, my play will be spotty at best.

I'm moving to New York.

Tomorrow.

I even have a place to stay that has a cable modem.

The effect this will have on my RP....well, I won't be around tomorrow, most likely. And after that, there will have to be Job, so on less.

My bags are all packed, all I have to do is pick up my rental car (driving to NY, yes I'm sane, of course I am), cancel the DSL for my grandmother, load up the car and...go.

So...look for me to be in the Big Apple.

All those who've volunteered for Operation Shu Guang rescue help, there's a post here with the outline; you'll have to be signed in as your involved pup to see it.  I've friended the journals of the people whose pups know those involved--those whose pups don't know them, ping me so we can figure out if there's an IC way for them to find out/get involved.  You can reach me at AIM XVCountess, and I'm usually in crackchat when I'm on.  Aspen, ping me if I don't spot you first and we can discuss the Moiraine-Lyrae thing.

Armageddeon Plot: Laying the Groundwork

As of this entry, Urza has entered Milliways.

The plot does not officially begin until Friday, the 18th, so between now and then is your chance to meet Urza and get to know him. It's not required that anyone interested in the plot or even that those involved in the OOM threads must tag between now and then -- it's completely up to you if you want your pup to know Urza in advance of their signing on.

Also, this is a gentle nudge to anyone who has not tagged in the OOM community recently (particularly the mages that will be needed for the lake battle Friday night) to go take a look and tag in if you can.

The Library's got a lot more information on dangers and personal accounts of the Buffyverse world, especially on Big Bads. The Gentlemen, The Judge, Sweet, the Master, you name it, it's there somewhere.

Giles figured enough's enough between Sweet and the Gentlemen, and figured it'd be good to be prepared in the future.

Hokay so. As of this, Bev Marsh is out of the bar for a while. How long exactly depends on how busy I end up being once I go back to school, but at the very least, she'll be back by October for plot reasons.

There's a note left with the bar informing people of her departure, but she didn't take the time to address it to anyone--just "anyone who needs to see it". Up to your discretion if that's you or not.

And a big thank you to those who've played with her so far--her time in the bar has already been awesomer than I could have predicted.
