Hey, y'all! Time for a semi-leave of absence anouncement type thingee.

Ahem.

Tomorrow afternoon (EST) I start making the trek towards Atlanta to visit family and (eventually) to DragonCon. This means, until I hit my hotel on Friday, I'm not sure what my internet status will be like.

Armageddeon Thieves: I'll be tagging in as much as I can, but if you get on a roll and need to leave me in the dust--go, baby, go. And let it be handwavily decreed that after the thieves return to the bar, Mary Anne is lying low in her room, enjoying the benefits of sleep and running water.

Once we hit the weekend, I'm going to be busy with connish stuff, but I'll try to check in from time to time so I won't be totally out of touch. Just don't try to distroy the bar (again) while I'm gone. Catch you on the flip side.

Hey, all!

As some of you know, I'm going to Atlanta for DragonCon weekend. I'm leaving tomorrow; from then through Sunday night or so, I will undoubtedly have some internet access -- thank you, geeky friends -- but I am unlikely to be about for hours at a stretch as usual.

Immediately thereafter, I'm moving to Boston. (And I do mean immediately thereafter.) I hope to have internet at my apartment there in short order, and I know I'll have at least some computer lab access, but I can't guarantee anything about timeframe, or about what my schedule will be like once I find a job there.

So, to sum up: I will be reachable but scarce for at least a couple of weeks. See you all around. :)

(This affects: River Tam, Regan Tam, Will Stanton, and A-ko the shadow girl. The usual people have godding rights.)

Brief Leave of Absence

Hey, my peoples!

sdelmonte and I are going to be traveling this weekend (not, alas, to Dragon*Con), and will be unlikely to have any internet connectivity at all between Friday morningish and Monday eveningish.

Assume all my characters are out of the bar. Unless for some reason you need to millitime some interaction with one of them to take place over the weekend, in which case we can either preplay or post-play.

I shall miss you all. Try not to blow up the bar while we're gone?

As you may or may not know, I'm kind of ret-conning that Miss Wiggs has had a few health problems since coming to the bar.

What this means is, if you're one of the people who see Jocasta regularly, if handwavingly, at the stables, when she's training, playing chess, or whatever, then your pup may or may not have noticed that -

- her hair is looking dry and lanky.
- she's lost a noticeable amount of weight.
- usually very good with commitments, she's become a little more flakey. Oversleeping, missing set dates altogether, excusing it afterwards with a mild sickness.
- she's rarely been seen outside near the middle of the day at all.

Please note they are mild, and have been creeping up on her, so she doesn't know anything's wrong. I would have played these out more gradually, but I was too dumb to do so.

ALSO. I may be asking one of the medical pups for plotty stuff soon. Just FYI.
